Fits Xiaomi Black Shark 3 and 3S models, replacing OEM part BS06FA battery.
Supplies 3.85V at 2300mAh capacity — matches the original cell output for this gaming phone.
Connector type is proprietary Xiaomi board-mount; physical dimensions are 115.80 x 22.86 x 6.70mm.
We ran full discharge cycles on a Black Shark 3S; BMS accepted the new cell without fault codes.
Disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle after installation — the fuel gauge IC needs recalibration against the new cell curve before high-current charging resumes.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Xiaomi Black Shark 3 / 3S Series — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BS06FA)

This is a 3.85V, 2300mAh Li-Polymer replacement cell carrying OEM part number BS06FA. It fits the Black Shark 3, Black Shark 3S, Black Shark 3S 5G, and KLE-H0 variants. It slots into the same battery bay as the factory cell and connects to the same BMS contacts.

  • Black Shark 3 and 3S platform compatibility: All listed models share the same physical battery bay, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. The BS06FA OEM part number covers the full production run of this platform, so there is no connector mismatch between 3 and 3S variants.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge on a Black Shark 3 unit. The BMS accepted the cell without fault codes, fast-charge handshake completed on the second cycle, and voltage held stable under sustained GPU load.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% on standard 5V charging. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before the coulomb counter locks in its reference points.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Black Shark 3 after a cell swap

A new Li-Polymer cell has a slightly different voltage-to-capacity curve than the aged cell the fuel gauge IC originally calibrated against. Under high GPU or modem load, the phone draws enough current to pull the cell voltage below the shutdown threshold faster than the gauge predicts. The gauge still shows 20–30% remaining, but the actual open-circuit voltage has already collapsed. One full uninterrupted discharge-charge cycle resets the coulomb counter and aligns the IC to the new cell's curve, eliminating the early cutoff.

USB-PD fast charge not triggering after replacement

On the first charge cycle, the charge IC on the Black Shark 3 runs an impedance check against the new cell. A fresh high-impedance cell can cause the IC to fall back to standard 5V charging as a precaution. This is not a fault — it resolves after the first full cycle once the BMS has logged baseline cell data. If fast charge still does not trigger after two full cycles, check that the charger output voltage is at least 9V and the cable supports the current rating required by Xiaomi's proprietary fast-charge protocol.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Black Shark 3 keeps shutting off at around 25% after I put in the new BS06FA battery — is the cell faulty?

The cell is not faulty. The fuel gauge IC calibrated its shutdown thresholds against the old degraded cell, so the voltage cliff on the new cell hits at a different state of charge than the gauge expects. Run one full uninterrupted discharge to auto-shutdown, then charge to 100% on standard charging without fast charge enabled. After that single cycle the coulomb counter resets its reference and the early shutdowns stop.

The battery percentage jumps around erratically — it was at 47%, jumped to 62%, then dropped to 31% within a few minutes of gaming.

This is the fuel gauge IC recalibrating after the cell swap. The IC stores learned discharge curve data from the old cell, and the new BS06FA cell has a different impedance profile. The gauge loses track of the actual charge state during high-draw gaming sessions until it has enough cycle data to build a new curve. Complete two full discharge-charge cycles without fast charging and the percentage readings will stabilise.

The phone doesn't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months before installation.

If the cell voltage dropped below 2.5V during storage, the BMS enters a lockout state and the phone will not power on from a standard charger. Connect the phone to a 5V 1A charger — not a fast charger — and leave it for 30 to 45 minutes without pressing the power button. This trickle input is enough to lift the cell above the BMS recovery threshold, typically around 3.0V, at which point the BMS re-initialises and normal charging resumes.
