Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Xiaomi Fimi Palm — 7.4V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (GH3DC01FM)
This is a 7.4V 800mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Xiaomi Fimi Palm handheld gimbal camera. It matches OEM part number GH3DC01FM and fits directly into the Fimi Palm battery compartment. Capacity is 800mAh (5.92Wh) — identical to the factory specification.
- Fimi Palm platform fit: The Fimi Palm uses a slim Li-Polymer cell in a proprietary form factor — 74.50 x 20.80 x 11.50mm — with a BMS handshake that monitors cell voltage and temperature. This replacement matches those dimensions and communicates correctly with the camera's power management circuit.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through the Fimi Palm's charge and discharge sequence. The BMS accepted the cell without fault codes, voltage held stable through the gimbal motor and sensor draw, and the protection circuit triggered correctly at the low-voltage cutoff threshold.
- First-cycle initialisation on the Fimi Palm: Run one full charge cycle through the Fimi Palm body itself before shooting. The camera's BMS maps battery-remaining percentages against the cell's discharge curve during this first cycle — skipping it causes the indicator to read inaccurately from the start.
Why the Fimi Palm battery indicator reads incorrectly after a cell swap
The Fimi Palm tracks remaining capacity by mapping voltage thresholds against a stored discharge curve. A new cell has a slightly different internal resistance profile than a worn factory cell, so the camera's voltage readings land at different points on that curve. This causes the indicator to jump — showing 80% one moment and 40% the next. One full charge-discharge cycle inside the camera recalibrates the threshold mapping and stabilises the readout.
Fimi Palm showing a dead-battery icon immediately after inserting a charged replacement
This happens when the cell's resting voltage sits just below the camera's wake threshold after shipping — typically under 3.5V per cell in a discharged storage state. The BMS interprets this as a depleted or fault cell and refuses to boot. Connect the Fimi Palm to its charger for 10–15 minutes before powering on; once the cell voltage climbs above the wake threshold (approximately 3.6V per cell, 7.2V combined), the camera will recognise the battery and start normally.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Fimi Palm shows the battery icon as empty the moment I insert the new replacement — is the cell dead?
The cell is almost certainly not dead. Li-Polymer cells ship in a low-voltage storage state to comply with transport regulations, and the Fimi Palm's BMS will refuse to boot if the resting voltage sits below its wake threshold. Plug the camera into its charger for 10–15 minutes without attempting to power it on. Once the cell climbs above approximately 7.2V combined (3.6V per cell), the camera will recognise the battery and start normally.
The battery percentage on my Fimi Palm jumps around erratically — it drops from 75% to 30% in seconds on a new cell.
The Fimi Palm maps its percentage display against a voltage-threshold curve calibrated to the discharge profile of the original cell. A new cell has slightly different internal resistance, so voltage readings land at unexpected points on that curve, causing the display to skip. Run one complete charge-to-empty cycle entirely within the camera body — not through an external charger. After that cycle, the BMS recalculates its threshold map against the actual cell behaviour and the readout stabilises.
The gimbal motors on the Fimi Palm seem to stutter or the camera resets unexpectedly mid-use — could this be a battery issue?
Yes — gimbal motor correction bursts pull short, high-current spikes from the cell. If the replacement cell's internal resistance is elevated (common in cells that have sat in storage for an extended period), voltage can sag sharply during those spikes, triggering the BMS undervoltage protection and cutting power momentarily. Charge the cell fully, then check whether the behaviour occurs only during aggressive gimbal correction or continuously. If it clears after a full charge cycle, the cell was simply under-voltage from storage; if it persists, measure resting voltage with a multimeter — it should read at least 7.4V fully charged.
