Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Yeedi Vac / Vac 2 / Vac 2 Pro / Vac Max Robot Vacuum — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (S10-Li-144-5200)
This is a 14.4V 6400mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Yeedi Vac, Vac Max, Vac 2, and Vac 2 Pro robot vacuums. It replaces OEM part number S10-Li-144-5200. Fit this battery when the original cell no longer holds a charge or cleaning cycles have shortened noticeably.
- Vac series platform compatibility: The Vac, Vac Max, Vac 2, and Vac 2 Pro share the same 14.4V battery bay, connector pin layout, and BMS handshake protocol — one replacement cell covers all four models without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the Vac 2 platform. The BMS communicated correctly with the vacuum's main board, reported accurate state-of-charge to the indicator, and held voltage stable under sustained suction load on both hard floor and carpet modes.
- Dock charging practice for the Vac series: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock between cleaning sessions indefinitely. Continuous trickle charging from the dock degrades Li-ion cell capacity faster than normal use. Charge the unit fully after a session, then remove it from the dock until it needs a recharge.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low
A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated to maintain airflow. Under that extra load, the battery voltage sags earlier than the BMS threshold that triggers the low-battery indicator. The vacuum loses suction noticeably while the indicator still shows mid or high charge. Clean or replace the filter first — if suction recovers, the battery was compensating for airflow restriction, not failing.
Motor cutting out mid-cycle then recovering on its own
This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a failed motor. When suction is restricted — by a blocked filter, tangled brush roll, or dense carpet pile — sustained current draw exceeds the BMS protection threshold and it disconnects the cell. The vacuum goes silent, then restarts after the BMS resets. Clear the blockage, spin the brush roll by hand to confirm it turns freely, and check that the filter is clean. If the cutout continues after clearing restrictions, measure the resting cell voltage — a degraded cell sagging below 12V under light load needs replacement.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Yeedi Vac 2 Pro keeps stopping mid-clean and then starting again on its own — what's causing that?
That's a BMS overcurrent trip cutting the cell to protect it. It happens when the motor pulls more current than the protection circuit allows, usually because the filter is clogged or the brush roll is tangled and restricting airflow. Remove the brush roll and spin it by hand, then clean or swap the filter. If the cutout stops after that, the battery was reacting to a load spike — not failing.
The Yeedi Vac 2 cleaned for noticeably less time after I left it on the dock for a few weeks without using it — is the new battery already damaged?
Continuous dock charging causes trickle-charge stress that accelerates Li-ion capacity fade, even in a new cell. The dock doesn't fully cut power once the battery hits 100%, so the cell stays at high state-of-charge under low current indefinitely. Run two or three full discharge-and-charge cycles away from the dock — charge to full, unplug from the dock, run a cleaning session until the vacuum signals low battery, then recharge. Capacity typically stabilises after a few cycles once the cell is no longer held at saturation voltage.
The replacement battery isn't being recognised by the Yeedi Vac — the vacuum won't power on at all even though the battery is charged.
The Vac series main board performs a BMS handshake on startup — if the communication between the battery's protection circuit and the vacuum's controller fails, the unit stays off as a safety measure. First, firmly reseat the battery connector and confirm the pins aren't bent. If it still won't respond, place the battery on the charger for a full charge cycle to initialise the BMS, then refit it — the handshake succeeds more consistently when the cell starts at full voltage rather than a partial charge state.
