Homenice M8 / U1 / 330C / I6 Series — 10.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This 10.8V 2600mAh Li-ion battery replaces the original pack in Homenice cordless stick and handheld vacuums, including the M8, U1, 330C, and I6 models. When the factory battery loses capacity and suction drops early into a cleaning session, this cell restores the voltage the motor needs to run at full draw. Capacity is 2600mAh — use the original charger.

• M8, U1, 330C, I6 compatibility: These models share the same 10.8V platform, connector format, and BMS communication protocol. One cell covers all four — the voltage rail and handshake are identical across the range.
• Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through the M8 motor start cycle, sustained carpet suction load, and a full BMS discharge-to-cutoff sequence. The BMS tripped at the correct low-voltage threshold and accepted a recharge cycle without fault.
• Dock charging habit on cordless vacuums: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock between every use. Continuous dock contact trickle-charges lithium cells and accelerates capacity fade. Charge to full, then remove from the dock until the battery is depleted.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

This is one of the most common complaints on the M8 and it is not always a battery problem. As a lithium cell ages, its internal resistance rises — voltage sags under the motor's draw even when the state-of-charge indicator still reads mid-range. The motor receives less than the 10.8V it needs, and suction output falls noticeably. If this happens on the original pack, a fresh cell with lower internal resistance will restore full suction at the same indicated charge level.

Motor cutting out mid-use then recovering after a few seconds

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When the vacuum's filter is partially blocked, the motor works harder to maintain airflow — current draw spikes above the BMS protection threshold and the pack disconnects to protect the cells. The BMS resets after a few seconds, which is why the vacuum restarts on its own. Before replacing the battery, clean or replace the filter. If the cutout persists with a clean filter on a new cell, check the airpath for a blockage near the brush roll.
