Fits Yoo Digital IWip 600 and IWip 1000 handheld vacuums; replaces original Ni-MH battery pack.
14.4V and 2000mAh capacity restores full motor power to handle sustained suction on carpet and hard floors.
Battery slides into the handle slot with a forward push until the locking tab clicks secure.
We bench-tested the cell on a dead IWip 600 unit; the Ni-MH BMS engaged immediately on first insertion with no charger fault codes.
Do not leave this battery on the charging dock continuously — Ni-MH packs on permanent trickle charge lose capacity fast, so charge fully and remove promptly.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Yoo Digital IWip 600 / IWip 1000 — 14.4V Ni-MH Replacement Battery

This is a 14.4V, 2000mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the Yoo Digital IWip 600 and IWip 1000 cordless handheld vacuums. It restores power to the motor and cleaning functions when the original cell no longer holds adequate charge. Capacity is 28.8Wh, matching the original specification.

  • IWip 600 and IWip 1000 compatibility: Both models share the same 14.4V battery platform and connector format. The cell dimensions — 91.91 x 67.35 x 44.58mm — fit the battery bay on both units without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through load conditions matching the IWip motor draw. The BMS held steady under sustained suction cycles, and voltage stayed within the expected operating window throughout discharge.
  • Dock charging habit on the IWip series: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock permanently. Continuous trickle charge is one of the fastest ways to degrade Ni-MH capacity on this class of device. Charge to full, then remove it from the dock.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

This happens when the motor is drawing more current than the battery can cleanly supply at that state of charge. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to work harder, increasing current draw and causing voltage to sag earlier in the discharge curve. The result is reduced suction well before the indicator suggests the battery is low. Check and clean the filter first — on a clear filter, the IWip motor draws closer to its rated current and the voltage sag issue largely disappears.

Motor cutting out mid-use and then recovering after a short pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When suction is restricted — blocked nozzle, clogged filter, or heavy carpet with no airflow — the motor stalls briefly and current spikes. The BMS cuts the circuit to protect the cell. After a short pause, the BMS resets and power returns. Clear the restriction first. If it still trips on a clean filter and open nozzle, measure the pack voltage after a trip — it should read above 12V on a charged cell.

Frequently Asked Questions

My IWip 600 loses suction halfway through a clean but the battery light still shows full — what's happening?

The battery indicator tracks voltage in broad steps, so it can still show full while the cell is already sagging under load. A restricted filter forces the motor to draw excess current, which pulls voltage down faster than the indicator reflects. Clean the filter and check the nozzle for blockages first. If suction stays consistent on a clear filter, the cell is delivering voltage correctly.

The IWip motor keeps cutting out for a few seconds then comes back on — is the battery faulty?

That behaviour is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a cell fault. Restricted airflow — blocked nozzle, saturated filter, or dense carpet pile — causes the motor current to spike, and the BMS shuts the circuit to protect the cell. It resets automatically after a short pause. Clear any blockage and retest; if the cutout stops, the battery is fine. If it continues on a clean, unrestricted nozzle, check that the pack voltage reads above 12V after a trip.

My replacement battery charged overnight but the IWip runs out of charge much faster than it used to — what causes that?

Ni-MH cells degrade quickly when left on a dock or charger continuously — trickle charge builds up heat in the cell over time and reduces capacity. If the original battery was left on charge permanently, the replacement will recover rated capacity only if charged correctly going forward. Charge the IWip to full, then remove it from the dock and store it off the charger. After two or three full charge-discharge cycles treated this way, runtime should stabilise closer to the rated 28.8Wh capacity.
