Fits T-Mobile Revvl 5G; replaces OEM battery part number TLP043E7.
Voltage 3.85V and 4250mAh capacity deliver full charge cycles to the device.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot with no locking tab required.
We bench-tested this cell on a Revvl 5G load simulator; BMS accepted charge protocol on cycle one.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before high-current fast charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

T-Mobile Revvl 5G — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (TLP043E7)

This is a 3.85V, 4250mAh Li-Polymer cell for the T-Mobile Revvl 5G smartphone. It replaces OEM part TLP043E7 when the original cell has degraded, swells, or can no longer hold a charge. Dimensions are 78.54 × 63.00 × 4.95mm — confirm clearance before installation.

  • Revvl 5G cell compatibility: The Revvl 5G uses a 3.85V nominal Li-Polymer architecture with a single-cell BMS that negotiates directly with the Qualcomm charge IC. Any replacement must match that voltage rail and connector pinout exactly — this cell does.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge on the Revvl 5G platform. The BMS handshake completed without error flags, and the charge IC accepted current at both standard and fast-charge rates after the first full cycle.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first cycle: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle. This allows the fuel gauge IC to build an accurate discharge curve against the new cell before high-current charging begins on an uncalibrated coulomb counter.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Revvl 5G after a cell swap

The Revvl 5G's fuel gauge IC retains the discharge curve of the old, degraded cell after replacement. When the new cell hits a voltage point the IC associates with a higher state-of-charge, it misreads remaining capacity. Under modem or display load, the cell voltage drops briefly below the BMS cutoff threshold — typically around 3.2V — triggering an abrupt shutdown even though the percentage display shows charge remaining. One full discharge-charge cycle without fast charging resets the coulomb counter and resolves this.

USB-PD fast charge not accepted on the first cycle after replacement

On the first charge after installation, some units show the Revvl 5G falling back to standard 5W charging rather than accepting fast charge negotiation. The charge IC runs a brief impedance check on the new cell before allowing elevated current — this is normal BMS behaviour, not a fault. Let the first cycle complete at standard rate, then reconnect with the fast charger. Fast charge should activate from the second cycle onward once the IC has profiled the new cell's internal resistance.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Revvl 5G shuts off at around 25% after I put in the new battery — what's wrong?

The fuel gauge IC is still reading from the old cell's discharge curve, so it misinterprets the new cell's voltage drop under load as a dead battery. When the modem or screen pulls a surge of current, the cell voltage dips briefly below the BMS cutoff threshold — roughly 3.2V — and the phone shuts down. Run one full discharge (let it die naturally) followed by a full charge without fast charging. That single cycle recalibrates the coulomb counter against the new cell's actual curve.

The battery percentage on my Revvl 5G keeps jumping around after replacement — is the cell faulty?

Not necessarily. The fuel gauge IC recalibrates after a new cell is installed, and during that process it corrects its state-of-charge estimate in visible steps. This shows as percentage jumps of 3–8% in either direction, especially during the first two charge cycles. One full discharge-to-charge cycle at standard charge rate stabilises the IC's model. If the jumping persists past three full cycles, check that the battery connector is fully seated — a loose pin causes intermittent voltage reads at the fuel gauge.

My Revvl 5G won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is it dead?

Li-Polymer cells that drop below approximately 2.5V trip the BMS into a lockout state to prevent damage from deep discharge. The phone will not power on until the cell voltage rises above the recovery threshold. Connect a known-working charger and leave it for 30–60 minutes without attempting to power on — the charge IC trickle-charges the cell at low current until it clears the lockout voltage. Once the screen shows a charging indicator, the BMS has recovered and normal charging will resume.
