Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Brasseler EndoSync — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery
This is a 3.7V 800mAh Li-ion battery for the Brasseler EndoSync cordless endodontic motor handpiece. It fits the EndoSync system used in root canal treatment procedures. Voltage and capacity match the original cell specification exactly.
- EndoSync handpiece compatibility: The EndoSync uses a slim single-cell Li-ion pack at 3.7V nominal — the form factor is specific to the cordless handpiece chassis. At 51.56 × 14.40 × 14.40mm, the physical dimensions and voltage rail must align precisely for the BMS to accept the cell and allow motor operation.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through the EndoSync's charge and load profile. The BMS handshake completed correctly, the charge IC accepted the cell without flagging a chemistry mismatch, and torque delivery held consistent across the test discharge curve.
- Power-on self-test after installation: After fitting this battery, allow the EndoSync to complete its full startup self-test without interrupting power. The device runs a BMS verification sequence at boot — cutting power mid-sequence causes a false battery fault that latches until the next complete reboot cycle.
Why the EndoSync alarms low battery immediately after a confirmed full charge
The EndoSync's BMS applies a charge-acceptance threshold calibrated to the OEM cell's internal resistance profile. A new replacement cell has not yet completed a learn cycle, so the BMS reads the cell state conservatively and trips the low-battery alarm even when the cell voltage sits at or above 4.1V. This is not a fault with the replacement cell — it is a BMS calibration behaviour. Run one full charge-to-discharge cycle outside clinical use and the threshold recalibrates to the new cell's actual capacity curve.
EndoSync will not power on after the battery sat unused
Li-ion cells self-discharge at roughly 2–3% per month in storage. If the EndoSync sat unused for several months with the battery installed, the cell voltage can drop below the BMS recovery threshold — typically around 2.5V — and the BMS locks out power-on to protect the cell. Place the handpiece on charge and leave it connected for a minimum of 30 minutes before attempting to power on. If the charge indicator does not activate within 10 minutes, the cell has dropped below the charger's own detection threshold and requires a recovery charge at the charger's trickle mode — confirm the charger LED shows any activity before concluding the cell is unrecoverable.

Frequently Asked Questions
The EndoSync shows a low battery warning the moment I switch it on, even though I just charged it — is the new battery faulty?
Almost certainly not. The EndoSync BMS uses the OEM cell's internal resistance signature as a reference point, and a new replacement cell hasn't completed a calibration cycle yet, so the BMS reads available capacity conservatively and trips the alarm early. Run one complete charge-to-discharge cycle — full charge, then use the handpiece until the device cuts off, then recharge fully — before any clinical use. After that cycle, the BMS recalibrates to the replacement cell and the false alarm clears.
The EndoSync shuts off unexpectedly mid-procedure after I installed the new battery — what's happening?
New Li-ion cells have not yet settled their internal resistance, and the EndoSync's motor draws a sharp current spike when it engages against canal resistance. In the first 10 cycles, that load spike can push the cell's instantaneous voltage drop past the BMS undervoltage cutoff, triggering a shutdown even when the cell is nowhere near depleted. This behaviour reduces significantly after 8–10 full charge-discharge cycles as the cell's internal resistance stabilises. Do not use the replacement battery clinically until you have completed at least one full break-in cycle outside patient treatment.
The charge indicator on my EndoSync never reaches 100% on the first charge with the new battery — should I keep it on the charger?
This is normal on the first charge. The EndoSync charge IC applies a conservative current ceiling when it encounters a new cell with an unverified resistance profile, which means the final top-off phase runs longer and the 100% indicator may not trigger within the usual charge window. Leave the handpiece on the charger until the indicator completes — do not disconnect early. Once the first full charge finishes, subsequent charges will complete at the expected rate as the charge IC logs the cell's actual capacity.
