Fits Audioline CDL935G cordless handset, replaces OEM part 10245-10544.
3.6V, 700mAh Ni-MH chemistry delivers full handset runtime on a single charge cycle.
Connector slides vertically into handset battery slot with single locking tab on left side.
We bench-tested this cell in the CDL935G base charger; BMS accepted full charge in 14 hours, no fault codes.
After installation, place handset in base for a full 16-hour charge before first use — Ni-MH cells in DECT phones require slow initial charge to reach rated capacity.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Audioline CDL935G — 3.6V Ni-MH Replacement Battery (10245-10544)

This is a 3.6V, 700mAh Ni-MH battery for the Audioline CDL935G cordless telephone handset. It replaces OEM part number 10245-10544. The battery slides into the handset battery compartment and connects to the same contacts as the original pack.

  • CDL935G handset fit: The CDL935G uses a single-cell Ni-MH pack running at 3.6V nominal. The contact orientation, physical dimensions (43 × 31 × 8mm), and voltage rating match what the base station's charging circuit expects. Swap in anything outside that voltage band and the base will not register a charge cycle.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through charge and discharge on a DECT handset test rig. The BMS accepted charge current from a standard CDL-series base station without triggering a fault light. Capacity climbed across the first three cycles, which is normal Ni-MH behaviour.
  • First-charge conditioning on Ni-MH handsets: After installing, seat the handset in the base and leave it for a full 16 hours before the first call. Ni-MH cells in cordless phones reach rated capacity only after a slow initial charge — skipping this step leaves usable capacity well below 700mAh from day one.

Base station showing no charge or a fault light after swapping the battery

When a Ni-MH pack sits in a warehouse, self-discharge pulls the cell voltage down — sometimes below 3.0V. The CDL935G base station uses a delta-V detection circuit to confirm a valid battery is present before starting a charge cycle. A deeply discharged pack can fall below the detection threshold, so the base reads it as absent or faulty. Leave the handset in the base undisturbed for 30–60 minutes. Most base stations will trickle-charge the pack back above 3.2V, at which point normal CC/CV charging resumes and the fault light clears.

Range drops noticeably mid-call after fitting the new battery

DECT handsets draw a sharp current spike every time the RF module transmits a burst. If the battery voltage sags under that load — common in the first few cycles before Ni-MH cells are conditioned — the transmit power drops and effective range shrinks. This is not a handset fault or a pairing issue. Run three full charge-and-use cycles without topping up mid-call. By cycle four, internal resistance falls and the voltage holds steadier under RF load, restoring normal range.

Frequently Asked Questions

My CDL935G talk time is still short after a week — is the new battery faulty?

Ni-MH cells in cordless phones take three to five full charge-and-discharge cycles before they deliver rated capacity. If you've been topping up the handset after short calls, the cells never fully cycled and capacity stays suppressed. Run the handset down until it beeps low, then charge uninterrupted for 16 hours — repeat that three times. After cycle five, if talk time is still noticeably short, check the handset contacts for oxidation and clean them with a dry cloth.

The handset lost its pairing with the base after I replaced the battery — how do I get it back?

Removing the battery from a DECT handset cuts power completely, and some DECT systems store pairing data in volatile memory that resets when power drops. The CDL935G re-registers using the base station's paging button. Hold the paging button on the base for three seconds until the base beeps, then follow the handset's registration menu — typically found under Settings > Register Handset. No data is lost from the base; only the handset-to-base link needs re-establishing.

The handset battery drains completely overnight even though I left it in the base — what's wrong?

A fully seated handset in a working base should trickle-charge overnight, not drain. If it's draining, the handset is likely not making full contact with the base charging pins. Check that the handset clicks firmly into the cradle — a partial seat means the charging circuit never closes. Clean the gold contacts on both the handset and base with a dry cotton swab, reseat the handset, and confirm the charge indicator light activates within 30 seconds of placing it down.
