Fits Robomow RC, TC, and MCPremium models; replaces OEM BAT7000B, MRK7005A, and BAT7001A.
25.6V 3000mAh lithium-ion pack delivers 76.8Wh to the blade motor and autonomous navigation system.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot with a positive locking tab; no tools needed.
We bench-tested the BMS under blade stall conditions; protection threshold engages at 80A draw before thermal trip.
Before first spring use, bring the battery indoors overnight if outdoor temperature is below 10°C — cold cells trigger blade motor inrush cutoff.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Robomow RC / TC Series — 25.6V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BAT7000B)

This 25.6V 3000mAh (76.8Wh) Li-ion battery replaces OEM part BAT7000B on Robomow RC and TC series robotic lawn mowers, including the Premium RC302, RC304, and over 20 additional variants. It slots into the battery bay directly and communicates with the mower's onboard BMS via the original connector. Capacity figures are matched to OEM specification — no compromise on cell count or pack voltage.

  • RC and TC platform compatibility: Robomow's RC and TC lines share the same 25.6V battery architecture, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. That shared platform is why a single pack covers such a wide model range — the mower's main board reads cell voltage and temperature data from the same register across all variants listed.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through full charge and discharge cycles on an RC series mower, monitoring BMS cutoff thresholds and cell balancing behaviour. The protection circuit responded correctly to simulated over-current events, and cell balance at end-of-charge was within 20mV across all cells.
  • Seasonal storage tip: Before putting the mower away for winter, bring the battery indoors and store it at 40–60% charge. A fully charged or fully depleted Li-ion pack left in a cold garage over several months degrades faster — and a pack that drops below the BMS acceptance threshold may not charge again without a manual reset.

BMS cutoff on thick-grass or wet-grass blade load

When the blade motor hits dense or wet grass, inrush current can spike sharply above steady-state draw. If the BMS reads that spike as an over-current fault, it cuts output to protect the cells — the mower stops mid-zone and the indicator light flashes. This is not a faulty battery; it is the protection circuit doing its job. Let the mower sit for five minutes before restarting, and consider adjusting the mowing schedule to avoid cutting wet grass, which consistently produces the highest blade load on this platform.

Charger showing a fault light after the mower sat all winter

Li-ion cells self-discharge slowly over months. A pack stored at low charge in a cold garage can drop below the charger's acceptance voltage — typically around 20V on this platform — and the charger refuses to begin the charge cycle, showing a fault or amber light instead. Some Robomow chargers include a recovery mode: disconnect the pack, wait 60 seconds, reconnect, and the charger attempts a trickle pre-charge to bring cell voltage back above the acceptance floor. If the charger does not recover the pack within 15 minutes of trickle mode, the cells have discharged too deeply to recover safely.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Robomow cuts out halfway through a mowing zone, then starts again on its own after a few minutes — what's causing that?

This is thermal protection triggering under sustained blade load. When the motor works hard through dense or damp grass, the battery pack heats up — once internal temperature hits the BMS threshold, output cuts to protect the cells, and the mower pauses until the pack cools. It will resume automatically once temperature drops back inside the safe window, usually within five minutes. If it happens consistently in the same zone, set the mower to run that area when the grass is dry and trim the cutting height up one notch to reduce blade resistance.

The battery feels noticeably warmer than my old one during the first few uses — is something wrong?

New Li-ion cells run slightly warmer during their first charge and discharge cycles while the internal chemistry stabilises and the BMS learns the pack's actual capacity curve. We recorded elevated surface temperatures on this pack for the first four to five cycles on the bench — all within safe operating range. By cycle six, temperatures settled to the same level as a conditioned OEM pack. If the pack is still running hot after ten cycles, check that the battery bay contacts are clean and making full contact, as a high-resistance connection forces the pack to work harder.

The mower's cutting performance seems noticeably weaker on the first run of spring — is the battery failing?

Cold Li-ion cells have higher internal resistance, which reduces the current they can deliver to the blade motor. Below 10°C, usable capacity can drop meaningfully and the blade may lack its full torque on the first run. This is a chemistry characteristic, not a fault. Bring the battery indoors overnight before the first spring use — a pack at room temperature will deliver full current from the start, and performance will match what you saw at the end of last season.
