This 18.5V 3400mAh (62.9Wh) lithium-ion battery replaces the original pack in the Husqvarna AM315x and Automower 310 series robotic lawn mowers. It matches the OEM voltage, connector, and BMS communication protocol so the mower's docking and charge cycle runs normally. Compatible across AM315x, Automower 310, Automower 310 2005, Automower 310 2015, and 37 additional models in this family.

Robotic mower batteries self-discharge slowly over months of storage. If a pack drops below roughly 2.5V per cell, the base station's charger circuit sees a voltage outside its acceptance window and flags a fault rather than charging. A dedicated Li-ion recovery charger can bring individual cells back above that threshold. Once cells read above 3.0V, the Automower base station will accept the pack and resume normal charging.

This is thermal protection activating, not a faulty battery. Dense or wet grass forces the blade motor to draw sustained high current, which heats the cells faster than the BMS expects under normal lawn conditions. The BMS cuts power to protect the cells, then resets once pack temperature drops. Let the mower sit at the base station for five minutes before restarting — if cutouts continue, check for grass buildup around the blade disc restricting airflow.
