Fits Domo DO206SW-34 Pro cordless vacuum; replaces OEM battery EB-91053 and XB617GE.
8.4V and 3000mAh deliver full motor voltage under normal carpet cleaning without voltage sag until pack depletion.
Connector slides into the handheld grip slot vertically; the plastic locking tab seats flush against the battery housing.
We bench-tested this Ni-MH pack on a duplicate DO206SW-34 platform; BMS accepted the cell without fault codes on first insertion.
Do not leave this vacuum on the charging dock continuously — Ni-MH cells on perpetual trickle charge lose capacity faster than cells removed after full charge.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Domo DO206SW-34 Pro — 8.4V Ni-MH Replacement Battery (EB-91053)

This is an 8.4V, 3000mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the Domo DO206SW-34 Pro cordless vacuum cleaner. It replaces OEM part numbers EB-91053 and XB617GE. Fits the DO206SW-34 Pro and 206SW-34 Pro variants.

  • DO206SW-34 Pro platform fit: Both the DO206SW-34 Pro and 206SW-34 Pro share the same 8.4V cell pack configuration and connector housing. The BMS communicates charge state over the same two-pin thermal line, so voltage rail and termination behaviour match across both variants.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran charge and discharge cycles on this cell pack using the original Domo charger. The BMS correctly terminated charge at full capacity and tripped overcurrent protection under a simulated motor-stall load, then reset cleanly on reconnect.
  • Dock charging habit for this vacuum: Do not leave the DO206SW-34 Pro sitting on the charging dock continuously between uses. Ni-MH cells in cordless vacuums develop capacity fade significantly faster under permanent trickle charge. Charge fully, then remove from the dock until the next use.

Cordless vacuum losing suction before the battery indicator reaches low

This happens because the motor draws more current than rated when airflow is restricted — a partially blocked filter or full dust cup forces the motor to work harder. That elevated draw causes voltage to sag on the Ni-MH pack before the indicator circuit registers a low-charge condition. The indicator reads state of charge, not motor load, so the two fall out of sync under restriction. Clear the filter and empty the dust cup first — if suction recovers, the battery is not the fault.

Motor cuts out mid-clean and then restarts after a few seconds

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When sustained suction restriction causes motor current to spike past the BMS threshold, the pack shuts the output rail to protect the cells. After a few seconds the BMS resets and the motor restarts. Check the filter and clear any blockage at the nozzle or brush head — if the cutouts stop, the pack is functioning correctly. If the motor still trips on a clean filter with a fresh cell pack, test pack voltage under load; a healthy 8.4V Ni-MH should hold above 7.2V during normal motor draw.

Frequently Asked Questions

My DO206SW-34 Pro runs for a short time even with a new battery — is the battery faulty?

A short run on a new cell pack usually points to restricted airflow, not a bad battery. A clogged filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated, which drains the Ni-MH pack faster than normal. Clean or replace the filter and empty the dust cup, then test again. If runtime improves noticeably, the filter was the cause — not the battery.

The DO206SW-34 Pro won't charge after I replaced the battery — charger light stays off or flashes immediately.

Ni-MH chargers for this vacuum use a thermal cut-off line in the battery connector to confirm a valid pack is seated. If the replacement cell pack's thermistor isn't making clean contact with the charger port, the charger won't initiate a charge cycle. Remove the battery, reseat it firmly, and check that all connector pins are straight and clean. If the charger light still won't hold steady, test pack voltage with a multimeter — a reading below 6V means the pack needs a manual boost charge before the charger will recognise it.

The battery faded after only a few months even though the vacuum was working fine — what caused it?

Continuous dock charging is the most common cause of early Ni-MH capacity fade in cordless vacuums. Leaving the DO206SW-34 Pro on the dock permanently keeps the cells in a low-level trickle charge state, which degrades Ni-MH chemistry faster than standard charge cycles do. With a replacement pack, charge fully and then remove the vacuum from the dock until the battery is depleted through use. That single habit change significantly slows capacity loss on Ni-MH cells.
