Fits Euro Pro Shark SV1107, SV1106, SV1112, and Navigator Freestyle Pro models; replaces OEM part XBT1106.
14.4V Ni-MH pack at 3000mAh delivers stable voltage throughout the discharge cycle for consistent motor performance on carpet and hard floor.
Slides into the battery slot with a single locking tab on the left side; connector seating is firm and audible when fully seated.
We bench-tested this cell in an SV1107 unit; the motor ran under full suction load for multiple discharge cycles with no BMS fault or early cutoff.
Do not leave this vacuum on the charging dock continuously — Ni-MH packs on permanent trickle charge lose capacity rapidly; charge to full and remove immediately.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Euro Pro SV1107 / Navigator Freestyle Pro — 14.4V Ni-MH Replacement Battery (XBT1106)

This is a 14.4V, 3000mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the Euro Pro Shark SV1107 cordless stick vacuum. It also fits the SV1106, SV1112, and Navigator Freestyle Pro. Voltage and connector match the OEM spec — the vacuum powers on and the charger recognises the pack as expected.

  • SV1107, SV1106, SV1112, and Navigator Freestyle Pro compatibility: These four models share the same 14.4V battery bay, connector layout, and BMS handshake protocol — one pack covers all of them without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on the SV1107 platform. The BMS accepted the charger signal, held voltage through the full cycle, and the motor drew current within the rated range under sustained load.
  • Dock charging behaviour on the SV1107: Do not leave this vacuum on the charging dock permanently. Ni-MH cells on continuous trickle charge degrade measurably faster than cells cycled normally. Charge to full, then remove from the dock until the next use.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

On the SV1107, the motor is the single largest current draw in the system. When the filter is partially blocked, the motor works harder to maintain airflow, pulling more current than the rated load. The BMS reads that spike as a low-voltage event and begins throttling output — even when the battery still has significant charge remaining. The result is weaker suction well before the indicator signals low. Clean or replace the filter first; if suction recovers, the battery is not the cause.

Motor cuts out mid-use and then recovers after a short pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When restricted airflow forces a sustained high-current draw, the BMS cuts the output circuit to protect the cells. After a brief rest the BMS resets, and the motor starts again — often leading owners to suspect a faulty battery rather than a blocked filter. Check the filter and the brush roll for hair or debris wrap before replacing the pack. If the motor runs normally after clearing the restriction, the battery is functioning correctly.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Euro Pro SV1107 has a new battery but it loses suction halfway through a session even though the indicator still shows charge — what's causing that?

A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated, and the BMS interprets that sustained spike as a low-voltage condition and throttles the output. The battery may have plenty of charge left, but the BMS is cutting power to protect the cells. Clean or replace the foam and felt filters, then run the vacuum again. If suction holds longer after cleaning the filter, the battery is fine.

The SV1107 motor cuts out for a few seconds and then starts again on its own — is the replacement battery defective?

That self-recovering cutout is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a faulty cell. Restricted airflow — usually a clogged filter or hair tangled in the brush roll — forces a current spike the BMS treats as dangerous, so it opens the circuit briefly and resets. Check the brush roll and both filters before assuming the pack is at fault. If the cutouts stop after clearing the restriction, the battery is working as it should.

My SV1107 battery lost noticeable capacity within a few months of fitting it — could the charging dock be the cause?

Yes — Ni-MH cells degrade faster under continuous low-level trickle charge than under normal cycle use, and the SV1107 dock does not stop charging once the pack is full. Leaving the vacuum docked permanently means the cells are under constant trickle charge, which accelerates capacity fade. The fix is simple: charge to full, then physically remove the vacuum from the dock and only return it when the battery needs charging again. Capacity fade from this cause is not reversible, but you can stop further degradation immediately.
