Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

360 S6 Pro / S9 / X90 / X95 — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (D080-4S2P)

This is a 14.4V, 5200mAh Li-ion battery pack for the 360 S6 Pro, S9, X90, and X95 cordless stick vacuums. It powers the vacuum's motor and suction system directly. OEM part numbers D080-4S2P and INR18650 M26-4S2P both cross to this pack.

  • S6 Pro, S9, X90, X95 platform: These four models share the same 14.4V battery rail, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. One pack fits all four without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through full charge and discharge cycles on the S6 Pro platform. The BMS communicated correctly with the charger, current draw stayed within spec under motor-start load, and the protection circuit tripped cleanly at the expected undervoltage threshold.
  • Dock charging habit for this vacuum: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock permanently. Continuous dock charging accelerates capacity fade on these packs faster than on most other cordless tools. Charge to full, then remove it from the dock until the next use.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

On the S6 Pro and its platform siblings, suction can noticeably drop while the indicator still shows two or three bars. This happens because a restricted filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated, causing voltage sag at the cells before the state-of-charge display catches up. The BMS sees real cell voltage rather than averaged capacity, so it may throttle output to protect the pack while the indicator lags behind. Clean or replace the filter first — if suction recovers, the battery is not the fault.

Motor cutting out mid-clean and then recovering after a few seconds

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a failed battery. When suction is sustained against a blockage or a heavily loaded carpet, current draw spikes above the protection threshold and the BMS disconnects the output. After a few seconds the pack cools slightly, the BMS resets, and the motor restarts. Clear any blockage, check the filter, and test again on a hard floor. If the cut-out stops occurring, the pack is working correctly — the restriction was triggering the trip.

Frequently Asked Questions

My 360 S6 Pro has noticeably less suction than it did six months ago but the battery indicator still shows nearly full — is the battery failing?

Most likely, yes. As Li-ion cells age, internal resistance rises and the pack can no longer sustain the voltage the motor needs under load, even when the state-of-charge reads high. The indicator reflects stored charge, not the pack's ability to deliver current under demand. Fit this replacement pack and test suction on the same surface — if performance restores immediately, the original battery was the fault.

The vacuum cuts out after a few seconds of running on carpet, then restarts on its own — what's happening?

The BMS is tripping on an overcurrent spike. Thick carpet and any partial blockage push motor current above the protection threshold, and the BMS disconnects the output to protect the cells. Remove the dustbin, clean the filter thoroughly, and check the brush roll for tangled debris. If the cut-out stops after clearing the restriction, the battery circuit is functioning correctly.

The replacement battery won't charge — the charger light just stays green or blinks in a pattern it didn't show with the original pack.

The 360 charger sends a low-current probe pulse before committing to a full charge cycle, and if the replacement pack's BMS doesn't respond within the expected window, the charger defaults to a fault state. Seat the battery firmly, confirm the contacts are clean, then leave it connected for five full minutes — some BMS units require a brief trickle before the handshake completes. If the charger still won't initiate a charge cycle, check the terminal voltage with a multimeter; a reading below 10V means the pack has self-discharged past the BMS recovery threshold.
