Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Lifero RX10 — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 14.4V, 5200mAh (74.88Wh) Li-ion replacement battery for the Lifero RX10 cordless vacuum cleaner. It replaces the original cell when capacity has dropped to the point where the vacuum no longer sustains suction through a full clean. Voltage and connector match the RX10 platform directly.

  • RX10 platform fit: The RX10 runs a 14.4V motor rail with a BMS that monitors cell voltage and current draw. This replacement cell matches that voltage rail and uses a compatible BMS handshake, so the vacuum's charge and discharge cycles behave as they did with the original pack.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the RX10 platform. The BMS held its overcurrent threshold correctly under sustained motor load, and the charger handshake completed without errors on the first connection.
  • Dock charging on the RX10: The RX10 charging dock does not automatically cut power once the battery reaches full charge. Leaving the vacuum docked continuously applies a trickle charge that accelerates cell degradation. Charge to full, then remove it from the dock.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low on the RX10

This happens when the motor draws more current than its rated load — usually because a partially blocked filter forces it to work harder. The BMS reads the increased current draw as a sign of battery stress and begins throttling output voltage before the indicator registers a low state. The result is noticeably weaker suction while the display still shows charge remaining. Clean or replace the filter first, then retest — if suction holds, the battery is not the cause.

RX10 motor cutting out mid-use and then recovering after a few seconds

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a motor fault. When suction is restricted — blocked filter, clogged brush roll, or a blockage in the hose — the motor draws a sustained spike of current above the BMS threshold. The BMS cuts power to protect the cells, then resets after a few seconds once current demand drops. Clear the blockage, let the vacuum sit for 10 seconds, then restart. If the cutout continues on an unobstructed surface, check that the replacement cell's BMS is fully initialised by completing one full charge cycle before heavy use.

Frequently Asked Questions

The RX10 loses suction well before the battery light shows low — is the battery already failing?

Not necessarily. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated, and the BMS throttles output voltage early to protect the cells — suction drops while the indicator still reads high. Clean or replace the filter and retest before replacing the battery. If suction holds after clearing the filter, the cell is not the problem.

My RX10 cuts out for a few seconds during use, then comes back on by itself — what causes that?

That's a BMS overcurrent trip. Restricted airflow — blocked filter, clogged brush roll, or a partial hose blockage — causes the motor to pull a sustained current spike above the BMS cutoff threshold. The BMS shuts power off, then resets once current demand falls. Clear every airflow restriction, then run a full charge cycle on the replacement battery before using it under load — a freshly installed cell sometimes trips on first heavy use until the BMS has completed one full cycle.

The RX10 battery degraded much faster than expected after replacing it — what went wrong?

Continuous dock charging is the most common cause. The RX10 dock does not cut trickle current when the battery reaches full charge, so a permanently docked vacuum keeps the cells under low-level charge stress every hour it sits there. Charge the battery to full, remove the vacuum from the dock, and only return it to charge when the battery is depleted. That single change has the biggest impact on how long the replacement cell retains its capacity.
