Fits 360 S6 and S8 cordless vacuums; replaces OEM part D043-INR-M26-4S1P and INR18650F9M-4S1P cells.
14.4V nominal voltage delivers full motor torque on carpet and hard floors; 2600mAh capacity matches original pack energy output.
Connector seats flush into the battery slot with a positive-latch tab; orientation is keyed and will not force into reverse position.
We bench-tested the pack on S6 motor load and confirmed BMS soft-start behavior stabilized after two full charge cycles without throttling.
Do not leave this pack on the charging dock continuously after reaching full charge — cordless vacuum chargers maintain trickle current that degrades lithium cells faster than removal between uses.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

360 S6 / S8 — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (D043-INR-M26-4S1P)

This is a 14.4V, 2600mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the 360 S6 and S8 cordless vacuum cleaners. It slots into the same battery bay and uses the same connector and BMS handshake as the original pack. Capacity is 2600mAh (37.44Wh) — taken from the product data, not estimated.

  • S6 and S8 compatibility: Both models share the same 14.4V battery rail, physical form factor, and BMS communication protocol. The D043-INR-M26-4S1P part number covers both — no adapter or modification needed.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on the S6 platform. The BMS responded correctly to the vacuum's motor-start current draw and did not trip under normal suction load. Cell voltage balanced across all four cells within expected range at full charge.
  • Dock charging habit for S6 and S8: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock continuously. Cordless vacuums on permanent dock charge develop capacity fade faster than those charged only when the pack is depleted. Charge to full, then remove from the dock.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low on the S6

This happens when the motor has to work harder than rated — usually because the filter is partially blocked. Restricted airflow forces the motor to draw more current, which pulls cell voltage down under load even when the pack reads healthy at rest. The BMS reads this voltage sag as a low-battery condition and throttles power before the indicator catches up. Clean or replace the filter first, then retest. If suction recovers, the battery was not the root cause.

Motor cutting out mid-clean and recovering after a few seconds

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When sustained restricted suction forces the motor to pull above the BMS current threshold, the pack shuts output to protect the cells. The BMS resets after a short thermal or timer delay — which is why the vacuum comes back on by itself. The fix is to clear the blockage or wash the filter. If the cutout continues on a clean filter with a new pack, check that resting cell voltage across the pack reads at or above 16.0V after a full charge.

Frequently Asked Questions

My 360 S6 battery charges fully but suction feels weaker than it used to — is the new cell just weaker than original?

A partially blocked filter is the most common cause of this complaint on the S6 — it forces the motor to work harder, which drags cell voltage down under load faster than a clear-filter run would. Clean the filter thoroughly before assuming the battery is at fault. We tested this pack with a clean filter and motor draw stayed within the normal range for the S6. If suction is still reduced after cleaning the filter, check that the battery is reaching at least 16.4V at the end of a full charge cycle.

My 360 S6 keeps cutting out during cleaning and then turns back on after a few seconds — what's happening?

That behaviour is a BMS overcurrent trip. When airflow is restricted — blocked filter, full dustbin, or a partial blockage in the nozzle — the motor draws more current than the BMS allows, and it shuts the pack output to protect the cells. The BMS resets after a short delay, which is why it powers back on. Clear any blockage and empty the dustbin, then run again. If trips continue with an unobstructed filter, measure pack voltage at the contacts — it should read 16.4V after a full charge.

I left my 360 S6 on the dock for several weeks and now the battery barely lasts — did the battery arrive faulty?

Continuous dock charging is the most common cause of accelerated capacity fade in cordless vacuums. A trickle charge held across fully charged Li-ion cells for weeks degrades the cells faster than normal cycling. This applies to the original pack and any replacement. Charge the new pack to full, remove it from the dock, and only return it when the pack is depleted. If the pack still shows poor capacity after two or three proper charge-and-discharge cycles, check that resting voltage after a full charge reaches 16.4V.
