Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Acer Liquid Z410 / M330 Series — 3.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BAT-A11)
This is a 3.8V, 2000mAh Li-ion cell built to replace the original BAT-A11 battery in the Acer Liquid Z410, Liquid M330, Liquid M330 LTE, and Liquid M330 Dual SIM. It matches the original dimensions at 65.90 × 53.00 × 4.85mm, so it seats correctly in the battery bay without modification. Voltage and capacity match the OEM spec exactly.
- Z410 and M330 platform fit: Both the Z410 and M330 lines share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and 3.8V nominal voltage rail — which is why a single BAT-A11 cell covers all variants. The BMS handshake on these devices authenticates via the connector rather than an NFC tag, so no additional pairing step is needed after installation.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on a Z410 unit. The BMS accepted the cell on first connection, charge current ramped normally through CC phase, and the protection circuit tripped correctly at the low-voltage cutoff threshold — no false disconnects under display and modem load.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first cycle: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one full discharge-to-charge cycle before enabling it again. The fuel gauge IC on the Z410 is calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve — a complete cycle with low current lets it remap against the new cell before higher charge current is applied to an uncalibrated state.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Liquid Z410 after a cell swap
The Z410's fuel gauge IC stores a discharge curve model from the previous cell. When a new cell is installed, the IC doesn't immediately know where the actual voltage cliff sits on the new cell. Under modem or display load, the cell voltage can drop sharply below the shutdown threshold before the gauge reads zero — causing an unexpected cutoff at 20–30% reported charge. This is not a fault in the replacement cell. Run one full discharge cycle down to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% uninterrupted. After one complete cycle, the coulomb counter recalibrates and the percentage readout stabilises.
Phone feels warm near the battery bay during the first charge after replacement
A new Li-ion cell has higher internal impedance than a worn cell that has been through hundreds of cycles. On first charge, the charge IC on the Z410 may push current into this higher-impedance cell before it has been conditioned, generating slightly more heat than normal. This is expected on cycle one and typically normalises within two to three charge cycles as cell impedance settles. If warmth persists past the third full charge, check that the battery connector is fully seated — a partially engaged pin increases contact resistance and sustains elevated heat.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Acer Liquid Z410 won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is the cell dead?
It's almost certainly a BMS lockout, not a dead cell. If the battery discharged below roughly 2.5V during storage, the protection circuit trips and blocks output to prevent cell damage. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC trickle-charges the cell back above the lockout threshold, and the BMS resets automatically once voltage recovers above 3.0V.
After fitting the BAT-A11, the battery percentage jumps around erratically — it reads 60%, then drops to 35%, then climbs back up without charging.
This is the fuel gauge IC recalibrating against an unfamiliar cell chemistry curve. The coulomb counter on the Liquid Z410 accumulated data from the old, degraded cell — it doesn't yet have accurate data points for the new cell's voltage-to-capacity relationship. Run two complete uninterrupted discharge cycles: let the phone shut itself off from low battery, then charge to 100% each time without interruption. The percentage readout should stabilise after the second full cycle.
Fast charging stopped working after I swapped in the new battery — the phone charges, but slowly, like it's on a basic 5V charge.
On the first cycle after a cell swap, the charge IC on the Z410 sometimes defaults to a conservative low-current profile because the BMS has no charge history for the new cell. This is a protective fallback, not a fault. Charge the phone to 100% using the original Acer charger, let it sit at 100% for five minutes, then perform one full discharge to auto-shutdown. On the next charge, the fast charge profile should re-engage once the BMS has one complete cycle of current and voltage data logged.
