Fits Actionpro X7, ISAW A1, ISAW A2 Ace, ISAW A3 cameras; replaces OEM part 083443A.
3.7V lithium-ion, 1300mAh capacity delivers 4.81Wh for extended shooting sessions between charges.
Connector type mates directly to X7 battery slot; no adapter or modification needed.
We tested the cell on a bench charge cycle; BMS accepted the pack without fault codes.
On first camera use, charge this cell fully inside the X7 body before shooting — the camera firmware needs one internal charge cycle to map battery-remaining display accurately to the new cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Actionpro X7 / ISAW Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (083443A)

This 3.7V, 1300mAh (4.81Wh) lithium-ion cell replaces the OEM 083443A battery. It fits the Actionpro X7, ISAW A1, ISAW A2 Ace, and ISAW A3 action cameras. Physical dimensions are 47.20 × 36.08 × 8.50mm — confirm these against your existing cell before ordering.

  • X7 and ISAW platform compatibility: These four models share the same cell format, connector pinout, and 3.7V nominal voltage rail. The BMS on each body communicates with the cell over the same two-pin contact layout, so one cell covers all listed variants.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through the X7 body and monitored BMS acceptance, charge termination, and discharge behaviour under continuous 1080p recording load. The protection circuit triggered correctly at low-voltage cutoff with no false trips during normal operation.
  • First-charge protocol for the ISAW BMS: Insert the cell and run a full charge cycle inside the camera body or OEM charger before shooting. Some ISAW bodies need that initial in-camera charge cycle to calibrate the battery-remaining indicator to the new cell's discharge curve.

Battery percentage jumping erratically on the X7 display after fitting a new cell

The X7's fuel gauge maps voltage thresholds to percentage steps. A new cell has a slightly different discharge curve than the depleted OEM unit the camera learned from, so the indicator can skip or stall at certain percentages. This is a calibration issue, not a cell fault. Run two or three full charge-discharge cycles through the camera body and the gauge will track more accurately. After the second cycle, check that the cell reads below 3.0V at reported empty — anything above that means the BMS cutoff is set tighter than the indicator expects.

Actionpro X7 showing dead battery icon immediately after inserting a charged replacement

This happens when the camera body hasn't completed a handshake with the new cell's protection circuit. The BMS enters a low-power state during shipping and the camera reads it as a dead or absent cell. Remove the battery, reinsert it firmly, then place the camera on charge via the OEM cable for at least 15 minutes before powering on. If the icon persists after that charge attempt, check the contact pins on the battery door — bent or dirty contacts cause the same symptom and cleaning with isopropyl alcohol usually resolves it.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Actionpro X7 won't recognise the replacement battery at all — just shows a dead cell icon even though it's charged. What's going on?

The protection circuit on a new cell often enters a dormant state during storage, and the X7 BMS reads that as no cell present. Seat the battery firmly, then connect the camera to its OEM USB charger for 15 minutes before pressing the power button. That short charge pulse wakes the protection circuit and completes the BMS handshake. If the icon still shows after charging, clean the battery door contacts with isopropyl alcohol — oxidised pins produce the same symptom.

The battery percentage on my ISAW A2 Ace jumps from 60% straight to 10% without warning. Is the cell faulty?

It's not a faulty cell — it's a calibration gap between the new cell's discharge curve and the voltage thresholds the camera's fuel gauge was tuned to. Run two full charge-discharge cycles through the camera body and the indicator will map more accurately to actual capacity. After the second cycle, let the camera run until it powers off on its own and confirm the resting voltage at shutoff is between 2.9V and 3.0V. If shutoff happens above 3.2V, the BMS cutoff threshold is more conservative than the display expects.

The replacement cell drains noticeably faster during cold-weather shooting on my ISAW A3 compared to indoor use. Is that normal?

Yes — lithium-ion cells lose usable capacity as temperature drops, typically 15–20% in the 0–5°C range, and the ISAW A3's continuous video encode load accelerates that draw further. Keep the spare cell in an inside jacket pocket between swaps to hold it closer to body temperature. A cell that reads full at room temperature but drops rapidly in the cold is behaving within normal Li-ion parameters, not failing. If drain is severe even above 10°C, check that the 083443A part number on your old cell matches — a mismatched lower-capacity cell will show the same symptom regardless of temperature.
