Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Samsung NX30 / WB2200F — 7.6V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BP1410)
This is a 7.6V, 1200mAh Li-ion replacement cell for the Samsung NX30 mirrorless camera, WB2200, and WB2200F. It slots into the same battery compartment as the OEM BP1410 and uses the same contact layout. Voltage and capacity match the original spec exactly.
- NX30, WB2200, and WB2200F compatibility: All three models run on the same BP1410 voltage rail and share an identical battery bay footprint. The BMS handshake protocol and contact pinout are consistent across this camera family, so one cell covers the group without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the NX30 body. The camera's BMS accepted the cell, reported a charge state, and drew current normally across autofocus, sensor readout, and video recording loads.
- First-cycle conditioning on the NX30: Charge the cell fully inside the NX30 body before your first shoot. Some Samsung camera BMS implementations need one in-body charge cycle to calibrate the battery-remaining indicator correctly — skipping this can cause the display to read inaccurately for the first few cycles.
Battery percentage jumping erratically on the NX30 display
The NX30 maps its battery indicator against a voltage-threshold table built around the OEM cell's discharge curve. A replacement cell with a slightly different mid-range voltage slope can cause the indicator to skip steps or jump — for example, dropping from 60% to 20% without warning. This is a display calibration issue, not a capacity fault. Running one full charge-to-discharge cycle inside the camera body allows the BMS to re-map thresholds against the new cell's actual curve. After that cycle, the indicator typically stabilises.
NX30 showing dead battery indicator on a partially charged replacement cell
If the NX30 displays a depleted battery icon immediately after inserting a new cell, the BMS is reading the resting voltage as below its acceptance threshold. This happens when a replacement cell ships in a partial-discharge storage state and the camera interprets that lower resting voltage as a dead pack. Remove the cell, charge it to full via the OEM charger or a compatible third-party charger, then reinsert. The camera should recognise the cell once its resting voltage sits at or above 8.1V.

Frequently Asked Questions
My NX30 says the battery is dead right after I put in a brand-new replacement — is the cell faulty?
Almost certainly not. Replacement cells ship in a partial-discharge storage state, and the NX30's BMS reads that lower resting voltage as a depleted pack. Remove the cell and charge it to full in your OEM charger or compatible third-party charger before inserting it into the camera. Once resting voltage is at or above 8.1V, the camera will accept it normally.
The battery percentage on my NX30 is jumping around — it dropped from 70% to 15% in a few shots. What's going on?
The NX30 maps its indicator against a voltage-threshold table calibrated to the original BP1410 discharge curve. A replacement cell with a slightly different mid-range voltage slope can cause the display to skip or jump, even though the actual capacity is intact. Run one complete charge-to-discharge cycle inside the camera body so the BMS can re-map thresholds against the new cell's curve. The reading typically stabilises after that single cycle.
My shot count drops noticeably when I'm shooting continuous AF or 4K video with the replacement BP1410 — is the cell underspec?
The rated 1200mAh figure is measured at a steady low-draw baseline. Continuous autofocus, the EVF, in-body image stabilisation, and sustained video recording all stack additional current draw on top of that baseline simultaneously. That combined load depletes the cell faster than the shot-count estimate suggests, and a fresh OEM cell behaves the same way under those conditions. To stretch charge between sessions, switch to single-point AF and turn off the EVF when shooting stills — those two changes cut draw more than most other settings.
