Fits AGM M9 smartphones and replaces OEM battery CS-DEP330SL for full restoration of calling, messaging, and app functionality.
3.7V lithium-ion cell rated 1200mAh delivers stable voltage under modem and display loads without mid-call dropout.
Connector seats flat against the M9 battery bay with no locking tab — slides in horizontally and contacts cleanly.
We bench-tested this cell in an M9 frame; the BMS accepted charge current on cycle one with no fault codes or voltage noise.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against the new cell discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

AGM M9 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 3.7V 1200mAh lithium-ion cell for the AGM M9 smartphone. It replaces the original cell when the phone no longer holds charge or fails to power on. Voltage and capacity match the M9's charge IC requirements exactly.

  • AGM M9 fit: The M9 uses a compact 53.18 × 34.00 × 6.80mm cell format with a 3.7V nominal rail. The connector pinout and physical envelope match the original bay — no trimming or adapter required.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through the M9's charge IC and monitored BMS cutoff thresholds. The protection circuit tripped correctly at low-voltage and over-current limits, and the charge IC accepted the cell without error flags.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first cycle: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle. This lets the M9's fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging starts — skipping this step causes erratic percentage readings in early use.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the AGM M9 after a cell swap

The M9's fuel gauge IC stores a learned discharge curve from the original cell. When a new cell goes in, the IC still references the old curve. At around 20–30% reported charge, the new cell's actual voltage drops below what the modem or display load needs to sustain — the phone shuts off before the gauge catches up. One full discharge cycle from 100% down to automatic cutoff, then a full charge, forces the coulomb counter to rebuild its reference against the new cell. After that cycle, the shutdowns stop.

AGM M9 not powering on after the replacement battery sat in storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage. If this battery shipped or sat unused below approximately 2.5V, the BMS protection circuit locks the cell out to prevent damage. The M9 will show nothing — no charging animation, no response. Connect it to a charger and leave it for 15–20 minutes without touching the power button. The charge IC trickle-charges the cell back above the BMS re-enable threshold, usually around 2.9V, at which point the protection circuit resets and normal charging resumes.

Frequently Asked Questions

My AGM M9 shows a different battery percentage every time I check it right after swapping the cell — why is it jumping around?

The M9's fuel gauge IC calibrated its reference curve against the old cell. With a new cell installed, the coulomb counter has no accurate baseline, so it estimates — badly. Run one full discharge from 100% down to automatic shutdown, then charge back to 100% without interruption. After that single cycle, the IC locks onto the new cell's actual discharge curve and the percentage stabilises.

Fast charging stopped working on my AGM M9 after I put in the replacement battery — the phone just charges slowly now.

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the M9's charge IC often defaults to standard charge current until it handshakes with the new cell's BMS. This is a one-cycle behaviour — the proprietary charge protocol re-negotiates once the IC has seen a full charge event. Charge the phone to 100% using the original cable and charger, let it complete fully, then unplug and reconnect. Fast charge should re-engage on the second session.

The AGM M9 feels noticeably warm near the battery during the first few charges after the swap — is something wrong?

A new high-impedance cell draws slightly more resistive heat during initial charge cycles than a broken-in cell does. The M9's charge IC is pushing current into a cell that hasn't yet settled to its operating impedance, so surface warmth is normal for the first two or three charges. If the phone becomes hot to the touch or shows a temperature warning, stop charging and let it cool — that indicates a contact or fit issue, not a normal break-in response. By the third full charge cycle, warmth should be minimal.
