Fits ALBA ACSE2G smartphone; replaces OEM battery for calling, messaging, and app operation on this device.
3.7V 1200mAh lithium-ion cell delivers the voltage and capacity this phone's fuel gauge IC expects for accurate charge reporting.
Connector type and orientation match the ACSE2G battery slot; no adapter or modification needed for physical installation.
We bench-tested this cell in the ACSE2G platform; BMS handshake completed on first insert with no fault codes or cutoff anomalies.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against this cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

ALBA ACSE2G — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 3.7V 1200mAh Li-ion cell for the ALBA ACSE2G smartphone. It slots directly into the ACSE2G handset and restores calling, messaging, and app functionality lost to a degraded original cell. No OEM part number exists for this unit — the ACSE2G and cell dimensions (53.00 × 33.90 × 5.70mm) are the fit references.

  • ACSE2G cell fit: The ACSE2G uses a compact 3.7V single-cell architecture with a low-current BMS matched to the phone's charge IC. Any replacement cell must match the connector pinout and physical envelope — this cell does both.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on a 3.7V single-cell rig, confirmed BMS communication with the charge IC, and verified the protection circuit tripped correctly at low-voltage cutoff without locking the device out.
  • First-cycle recalibration on the ACSE2G: On first use after installation, disable fast charging if your charger supports it and run one full discharge down to auto-off, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. The ACSE2G's fuel gauge IC was calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve — one complete cycle rewrites that reference against the new cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the ACSE2G after a cell swap

The ACSE2G's fuel gauge IC holds a learned discharge curve from the old cell. When a new cell goes in, the IC still references the old curve and misjudges the voltage cliff — the point where cell voltage drops sharply under modem or screen load. The phone reads 25% but the cell voltage has already fallen below what the SoC needs to stay on. One full discharge-to-cutoff and uninterrupted recharge resets the coulomb counter and resolves this.

ACSE2G not powering on after the replacement cell sat in storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage, and if this one dropped below roughly 2.5V per cell, the BMS will have locked out to prevent damage — the phone won't respond to the power button or show a charge indicator. Connect the phone to a wall adapter, not a PC port, and leave it for 15–20 minutes without pressing anything. The charge IC will push a trickle current to bring the cell above the BMS re-enable threshold, typically around 2.9V, after which the device will boot normally.

Frequently Asked Questions

The ACSE2G battery percentage keeps jumping around after I put the new cell in — is it faulty?

It is not faulty. The fuel gauge IC on the ACSE2G is recalibrating against the new cell's discharge curve and has not yet built an accurate charge map. Run one full cycle — discharge the phone to auto-off, then charge to 100% without interruption. The percentage readings stabilise once the coulomb counter has a complete reference cycle logged.

The ACSE2G feels warm near the battery area while charging with the new cell — is that normal?

A new Li-ion cell has slightly higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell, which means the charge IC dissipates a little more heat during the first few charge cycles. Mild warmth at the back of the handset is expected and reduces after two or three full cycles as the cell's impedance settles. If the phone becomes hot to the touch or the charger disconnects early, stop charging and check the cable and adapter are within the 5V/1A rating the ACSE2G expects.

Fast charging stopped working on the ACSE2G after I replaced the battery — the phone now charges slowly every time.

On the first cycle after a cell swap, some charge ICs fall back to standard 5V/500mA charging while they verify the new BMS handshake. Fully discharge the phone to auto-off, then do one complete uninterrupted charge to 100% on the original wall adapter. If fast charging does not resume after that cycle, check that the adapter output matches what the ACSE2G expects — the protocol negotiation fails silently if the adapter voltage is outside the accepted range.
