Fits Allview C6 and C6 Quad 4G smartphones, replacing the original 3.8V lithium-ion cell.
Voltage of 3.8V and capacity of 1800mAh sustains standard calling, messaging, and app use on this entry-level Android phone.
Connector is a flat two-pin JST type with plastic locking tab; seats flush against the phone's battery slot.
We bench-tested this cell in a C6 unit; BMS accepted the new pack on first insertion with no fault codes or cutoff delays.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against the new cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Allview C6 / C6 Quad 4G — 3.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This 3.8V, 1800mAh Li-ion cell replaces the original battery in the Allview C6 and C6 Quad 4G smartphones. It restores power to devices that no longer hold a charge or shut down unexpectedly. Dimensions are 67.55 × 56.95 × 4.10mm — measure your original before fitting.

  • C6 and C6 Quad 4G fitment: Both models share the same battery bay dimensions, 3.8V nominal rail, and connector pinout. The cell slots into either variant without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the C6 platform. The BMS accepted charge from 0% and the protection circuit tripped correctly at the low-voltage cutoff threshold.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After fitting, disable fast charging and run one full discharge-to-charge cycle before relying on the percentage indicator. The fuel gauge IC on the C6 is calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve. One complete cycle lets it remap against the new cell and report accurate percentages.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Allview C6 after a cell swap

The C6's fuel gauge IC stores a discharge curve from the original cell. A new cell has a slightly different voltage-to-capacity profile, so the IC misjudges how much charge remains. Under modem load or screen-on draw, voltage drops faster than the IC expects and the protection circuit cuts power — even though the reported percentage looks safe. One full discharge and charge cycle forces the coulomb counter to resync with the new cell's actual curve. After that cycle, shutdowns at 20–30% typically stop.

Phone warm near the battery during the first few charges after replacement

A new cell has higher internal impedance than a used one. The charge IC on the C6 pushes current in at a fixed rate, and higher impedance means more energy converts to heat during those early cycles. This is normal for the first two to three charge cycles as the cell forms. If warmth persists beyond that point, check that the back cover is seated flat — any gap reduces heat dissipation and can cause the charge IC to throttle or trigger a fault. Charging should normalise once internal impedance drops after initial cycling.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Allview C6 shows 25% battery then dies instantly — is the new cell faulty?

The cell is almost certainly fine. The C6's fuel gauge IC was calibrated to your old cell's voltage curve, and the new cell hits its voltage cliff at a different point under load — the modem or display pulls enough current to collapse voltage below the cutoff threshold before the percentage catches up. Run one complete discharge to near-zero, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without fast charging enabled. That single cycle resets the coulomb counter against the new cell's actual curve and the premature shutdowns stop.

The battery percentage on my C6 jumps around erratically after fitting the replacement — 60% one minute, 45% the next.

Erratic percentage readings after a cell swap mean the fuel gauge IC is still reading against the old discharge curve stored in memory. The coulomb counter loses confidence when measured voltage doesn't match its expected curve and starts interpolating badly. Disable fast charging, drain the phone to automatic shutdown, then charge in one unbroken session to 100%. After that full recalibration cycle, percentage tracking stabilises.

My Allview C6 won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months before I installed it.

Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage, and if the cell dropped below approximately 2.5V per cell, the BMS will have entered lockout mode to prevent damage — the phone won't respond to the power button at all. Connect the phone to a wall charger rated at 5V and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing anything. The charge IC on the C6 runs a trickle pre-charge phase that slowly brings the cell voltage back above the BMS recovery threshold, after which normal charging resumes and the phone will power on.
