Fits Amtidy A325 Mini vacuum cleaner, replacing original 14.4V Ni-MH battery pack.
14.4V, 3500mAh delivers stable voltage to motor under suction load on handheld operation.
Connector slides into dock housing vertically with single locking tab — no twist required.
Bench tested full charge cycle; BMS held steady discharge profile under restricted filter simulation.
Do not leave on charging dock permanently — continuous trickle charge degrades Ni-MH capacity faster than charge-when-depleted cycles.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Amtidy A325 Mini — 14.4V Ni-MH Replacement Battery

This is a 14.4V, 3500mAh (50.4Wh) Ni-MH replacement battery for the Amtidy A325 Mini cordless handheld vacuum cleaner. It fits directly in place of the original pack when the factory cell has lost charge capacity or stopped holding a useful charge. No tools needed for the swap — the connector and form factor match the A325 Mini bay.

  • A325 Mini fit: The A325 Mini runs a 14.4V motor rail with a Ni-MH pack at this exact cell count and connector orientation. Swapping to a different voltage or chemistry would conflict with the onboard charging circuit and motor driver.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through load and recovery on a comparable 14.4V Ni-MH vacuum platform. The BMS held stable under sustained suction draw and recovered cleanly after a filter-restriction stress cycle.
  • Dock charging habit on the A325 Mini: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock continuously. Ni-MH cells in cordless vacuums develop capacity fade faster under constant trickle charge than cells charged only when depleted. Charge to full and remove from the dock.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low on the A325 Mini

This happens when the motor draws more current than the pack can sustain at its present state of charge, causing voltage to sag before the indicator registers a low cell. A partially blocked filter makes it worse — restricted airflow forces the motor to work harder, pulling current above the cell's rated discharge rate. Clean the filter first, then check whether the drop disappears. If suction still falls off early with a clean filter, the original pack has lost capacity and this replacement will restore normal behaviour.

Motor cuts out mid-clean and then recovers after a few seconds

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a flat battery. When suction is restricted — blocked filter, clogged brush roll, or a tight corner with no airflow — the motor spikes current above what the protection circuit allows, and the BMS shuts the output briefly. The pack resets once current demand drops, which is why it recovers on its own. Clear the blockage and check the filter before replacing the battery — a new pack will trip the same way if the restriction is still there. If the cutout continues with an unobstructed motor, measure pack voltage at rest; it should read above 14.4V after a full charge.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Amtidy A325 Mini has noticeably shorter run time than it used to — could the filter be causing this?

Yes, a partially blocked filter is the most common cause of shortened runtime on this vacuum. Restricted airflow forces the motor to pull more current than rated, draining the pack faster than the battery indicator suggests. Clean or replace the filter first — if runtime improves, the battery was not the problem. If it stays short with a clean filter, the original pack has degraded and a replacement 3500mAh cell will restore normal operation.

I've been leaving my A325 Mini on the charging dock all the time and now it barely holds a charge — is that damage permanent?

Continuous dock charging causes capacity fade in Ni-MH cells over time because the charger applies a low trickle current even after the pack is full, degrading the cell chemistry gradually. By the time the vacuum barely holds a charge, the original pack is unlikely to recover. Replace the battery, then charge only when the vacuum is depleted and remove it from the dock once full. That cycle pattern will preserve this replacement pack significantly longer.

The A325 Mini motor keeps cutting out for a few seconds during cleaning — will a new battery fix this?

Only if the original pack is weak enough that its voltage sags under load and triggers the BMS cutoff. More often, this cutout is caused by a blocked filter or brush roll forcing the motor to spike current above the protection threshold. Clear any blockage and clean the filter before swapping the battery. If the cutout stops, the pack was not at fault — if it continues with an unobstructed motor, replace the battery and confirm the resting voltage reads above 14.4V after a full charge.
