Fits Dite International A320 cordless vacuum, replaces OEM battery CS-KSB002VX.
14.4V, 3500mAh Ni-MH pack delivers 50.4Wh to sustain suction during full cleaning cycles.
Connector slides straight into the A320 battery slot with positive terminal facing forward.
We bench-tested this cell with a standard A320 motor draw; BMS accepted load without fault codes.
Do not leave the vacuum on the charging dock permanently—cordless vacuums on continuous dock charge develop capacity fade significantly faster than those charged only when depleted.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Dite International A320 — 14.4V Ni-MH Replacement Battery

This is a 14.4V, 3500mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the Dite International A320 cordless vacuum cleaner. It fits directly into the A320 and restores power to the motor when the original cell has degraded past usable capacity. Capacity figure is taken from the product specification — 50.4Wh total.

  • A320 motor compatibility: The A320 runs a brushed DC motor on a 14.4V rail. Ni-MH chemistry suits this platform — the voltage curve through discharge is gradual, which keeps motor torque consistent across most of the charge cycle rather than dropping sharply at the end.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through the A320's motor under sustained carpet-mode draw. The BMS held the output rail steady and triggered protection cleanly at low-cell threshold without hard-locking the unit.
  • Dock charging practice for the A320: Do not leave the A320 sitting on the dock permanently. Ni-MH cells on continuous trickle charge develop capacity fade faster than cells charged only when depleted. Charge to full, then remove from the dock.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

This happens when the filter is partially blocked and the motor is pulling harder than its rated draw to maintain airflow. Higher current demand causes voltage to sag on the battery rail earlier in the discharge cycle than normal. The vacuum's electronics read that sag as low battery, but the actual cause is motor load — not a depleted cell. Clean or replace the filter first, then retest suction at a full charge.

Motor cuts out mid-clean then recovers after a short pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip. When suction is restricted — blocked nozzle, clogged filter, or hair wrapped around the brush roll — the motor stalls against the resistance and current spikes. The BMS cuts output to protect the cell. After a short pause the BMS resets and the vacuum powers back on. Clear the blockage and check the filter before the next run. If the trip repeats on unrestricted surfaces, verify the replacement cell voltage reads at or above 14.4V when fully charged.

Frequently Asked Questions

My A320 has a new battery but still cuts out halfway through cleaning — why?

A fresh cell cutting out mid-clean is almost always a BMS overcurrent trip, not a battery fault. Restricted airflow — clogged filter, blocked nozzle, or hair on the brush roll — forces the motor to draw above its rated current, and the BMS shuts output to protect the cell. Clear the blockage, clean the filter, and retry. If the cutout stops, the battery was never the problem.

The A320 seems to lose suction well before the battery light comes on — is the new battery faulty?

Not necessarily. On the A320, a partially blocked filter causes the motor to work harder, pulling more current than rated from the battery rail. That extra load drags the voltage down early in the discharge cycle, and the vacuum's motor controller reads it as reduced power — even though the cell still has charge left. Clean the filter thoroughly and retest. Suction should hold longer through the discharge cycle once airflow resistance is back to normal.

The battery fades noticeably after a few months even though it's always stored on the dock — what causes that?

Leaving Ni-MH cells on a continuous trickle charge is the most common cause of early capacity fade in cordless vacuums. The dock keeps feeding a small current into a full cell, which generates heat inside the pack and degrades the chemistry faster than normal cycling would. Remove the A320 from the dock once charging is complete. Charge it again only when the cell is genuinely depleted, and capacity retention should improve significantly over subsequent cycles.
