Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Asus ZenFone 3 / ZS570KL / ZE552KL — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (C11P1511)
This is a 3.85V, 2900mAh Li-Polymer replacement cell for the Asus ZenFone 3 series smartphones. It fits the ZenFone 3, ZenFone 3 Deluxe Dual SIM Global, ZS570KL, and ZE552KL, among other variants in the same lineup. OEM part numbers C11P1511 and 0B200-02000500 both cross to this cell.
- ZenFone 3 series fit: These models share a common 3.85V cell format, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. The ZS570KL and ZE552KL use the same physical envelope and charge IC communication — one cell covers the full range without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on a ZE552KL. The BMS accepted the cell without error flags, and the charge IC held steady at the correct termination voltage across multiple cycles.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first install: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-charge cycle on standard charge. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before the coulomb counter locks in its reference points — skipping this step is the leading cause of erratic percentage readings post-swap.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the ZenFone 3 after a cell swap
This happens when the fuel gauge IC is still referencing the old cell's voltage-to-capacity curve. A fresh Li-Polymer cell hits a steeper voltage drop under modem or display load than the worn original — the phone interprets that as a hard cutoff even though capacity remains. The fix is one full, uninterrupted discharge to automatic shutdown followed by a full charge on standard (non-fast) mode. After that cycle, the coulomb counter recalibrates and the shutdowns stop.
USB fast charge not activating on the first cycle after replacement
On the first charge after a cell swap, the ZenFone 3's charge IC defaults to a reduced current trickle while it verifies the new cell's internal impedance. This is normal — the IC won't negotiate fast charge until it confirms the cell is stable above 3.0V per cell. If fast charge still does not activate after the first full cycle, check that the charger is rated for the correct protocol and that the USB cable is not limiting current. Try a known-good cable rated to at least 3A.

Frequently Asked Questions
My ZenFone 3 shows 25% battery then shuts off completely — is the new cell faulty?
The cell is almost certainly fine. The fuel gauge IC calibrated itself to the old worn cell's discharge curve, and the new cell's voltage drops faster under screen or modem load than the IC expects. Run one full uninterrupted discharge to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% on standard charging with fast charge disabled. After that single cycle, the coulomb counter resets its reference and the early shutdowns stop.
The battery percentage on my ZenFone 3 keeps jumping around after I replaced the battery — it went from 60% to 43% in two minutes without heavy use.
This is the fuel gauge IC recalibrating against the new cell's discharge curve — it has not yet built a reliable charge map for the replacement cell. The jumps settle after one or two complete discharge-charge cycles at standard charge rate. Do not interrupt the cycle partway through; a partial cycle extends the recalibration and makes the jumping worse. After two full cycles, readings stabilise to within a few percent.
My ZenFone 3 feels noticeably warm near the battery compartment during the first few charges after the swap — should I be worried?
Mild warmth on the first one or two charges is expected. A new Li-Polymer cell starts with slightly higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell, so the charge IC dissipates a small amount of extra energy as heat while it works through the initial formation cycles. If the phone becomes hot to the touch or the heat persists beyond the third charge cycle, stop charging and check that the replacement cell's BMS hasn't flagged a fault — power the phone off and back on to clear any latent charge IC error before the next charge attempt.
