Fits BBK VIVO Y11 and VIVO Y11T smartphones; replaces OEM part number BK-B-60.
3.8V lithium-ion cell rated 1700mAh delivers sustained voltage under call and messaging loads.
Connector slides into the stock battery slot with no orientation guessing; locking tab seats flush.
We ran discharge cycles on the fuel gauge IC and saw clean voltage ramp with no premature cutoff signals.
On first charge after installation, complete one full discharge-to-shutdown cycle before resuming normal use — the VIVO Y11 fuel gauge needs to recalibrate against this cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

BBK VIVO Y11 / Y11T — 3.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BK-B-60)

This is a 3.8V, 1700mAh Li-ion cell replacing part number BK-B-60 in the BBK VIVO Y11 and VIVO Y11T smartphones. It fits both models directly, restoring full power to calls, messaging, and apps. Capacity figure is 6.46Wh at the rated voltage.

  • VIVO Y11 and Y11T compatibility: Both models run the same 3.8V battery rail, share the BK-B-60 connector footprint, and use the same BMS handshake protocol — one cell covers both without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge on VIVO Y11 hardware. The BMS accepted charge current correctly, voltage held steady under screen and modem load, and no cutoff events triggered during the test sequence.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC build an accurate discharge curve for the new cell before high-current charging begins pushing current into an uncalibrated state.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the VIVO Y11 after a cell swap

This happens when the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve. The new cell hits a voltage cliff under modem or display load before the gauge catches it. The OS reads 25% but the cell voltage has already dropped below the BMS cutoff threshold. One full discharge-to-shutdown followed by a full charge to 100% resets the coulomb counter and clears this.

USB fast charge not activating on the first cycle after replacement

On first charge after a cell swap, the BMS on the new cell may not immediately negotiate the proprietary fast-charge handshake with the VIVO Y11 charge IC. The phone falls back to standard 5V/1A charging until the BMS completes its first full cycle. Let the battery charge to 100% at standard rate, then discharge normally — fast charge typically activates from the second cycle onward. If it still does not activate, check that the charger output is at least 9V/2A.

Frequently Asked Questions

My VIVO Y11 keeps shutting off at around 25% after I put in the new battery — why?

The fuel gauge IC inside the VIVO Y11 is still running the discharge curve it learned from your old, degraded cell. When the new cell's voltage drops sharply under modem or screen load, the BMS cuts power before the OS percentage catches up. Run one full discharge to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — that single cycle resets the coulomb counter to the new cell's curve and eliminates the early cutoff.

The battery percentage on my VIVO Y11 jumps around erratically after the replacement — is something wrong with the cell?

Nothing is wrong with the cell. The fuel gauge IC recalibrates its internal model against real charge and discharge data, and until it has enough cycles it reports estimates rather than accurate readings. Erratic jumps — say, skipping from 60% to 45% in seconds — are the IC filling in gaps in its curve. Complete two or three full discharge-charge cycles without interruption and the percentage will stabilise.

My VIVO Y11 won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is it dead?

Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage, and if the cell dropped below roughly 2.5V the BMS entered lockout to prevent damage. The phone will not respond to the power button in this state. Connect it to a wall charger — not a PC port — and leave it for 20 to 30 minutes without pressing anything. The BMS recovery circuit trickle-charges the cell back above the lockout threshold; once it crosses 3.0V the BMS releases and the phone will power on normally.
