The RM1000 blade motor draws peak current when it bites into dense or wet grass — inrush can spike several times the steady-state draw. Clearing the fault is straightforward: release the handle, wait 10 seconds, then re-engage — the BMS resets once the overcurrent event clears.

Li-ion cells self-discharge slowly in storage. After several months in a cold garage, a pack can drop below the charger's minimum acceptance voltage — typically around 20–22V on a 28V system — and the charger refuses to begin a charge cycle, showing a fault or red indicator instead. Most chargers include a recovery or "wake-up" mode: hold the charge button for 5 seconds or consult the charger label for the recovery input. If the pack voltage reads above 20V on a multimeter, recovery is almost always possible.
