Fits Power-G Easymow, Easymow 6HD, and SF600 ECO cordless mowers as a direct replacement battery.
Delivers 28V and 5000mAh capacity to restore full motor power across all three mower models.
Uses a slide-lock connector that seats straight into the mower handle without twisting or forcing.
We bench-tested the cell under blade load and confirmed the BMS held stable through thick-grass startup without nuisance cutoff.
Before first spring use, bring this battery indoors overnight if the garage sits below 10°C — cold Li-ion cells spike internal resistance and can trip the blade motor's inrush current.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Power-G Easymow Series — 28V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 28V, 5000mAh (140Wh) lithium-ion replacement battery for the Power-G Easymow, Easymow 6HD, and SF600 ECO cordless lawn mowers. It slots into the same battery bay and uses the same voltage rail as the original pack. When your factory battery no longer holds charge or capacity has dropped, this is the direct swap.

  • Easymow, Easymow 6HD, and SF600 ECO compatibility: All three models run the same 28V platform with the same connector and BMS handshake protocol. One battery works across the range — no adapter required.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through repeated blade-motor load tests, including simulated thick-grass inrush draws. The BMS held stable across cycles and protection cutoffs triggered correctly at boundary conditions.
  • Seasonal storage tip: Before putting the mower away for winter, charge the battery to around 50–60% rather than full. A fully charged Li-ion pack held at high state-of-charge for months accelerates cell degradation faster than a mid-charge storage level does.

BMS cutoff during thick-grass or wet-grass blade load

The blade motor on the Easymow draws a sharp inrush current every time it bites into dense or wet grass. If the battery pack is already warm from extended use, the BMS may read that spike as an overcurrent event and cut the output. This is a protective response — not a fault in the battery. Let the pack cool for five minutes, then resume. If cutoffs happen repeatedly on a fresh pack, check that the blade isn't dragging from a bent or dull edge, which increases motor load significantly.

Charger rejects pack after winter storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge slowly over months. If the pack dropped below approximately 2.5V per cell during storage, most chargers will refuse to begin a charge cycle — the BMS blocks it as a safety measure against damaged cells. Some chargers include a recovery or wake-up mode that applies a trickle current to bring cells back above the acceptance threshold. If yours does, run it. If the charger shows a solid fault light and no recovery option, the cells may have discharged too deeply for safe recovery.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Power-G Easymow cuts out halfway across a thick patch of grass, then starts again after a minute — what's happening?

The blade motor pulls a high inrush current through dense grass, and if the pack is warm from prior use, the BMS trips the overcurrent threshold and cuts output to protect the cells. It's thermal protection doing its job, not a faulty battery. Let the pack rest for five minutes before restarting — the BMS resets once internal temperature drops. If it keeps tripping, check the blade edge: a blunt or bent blade forces the motor to work harder and pushes current draw higher on every cut.

First spring mow after winter and the battery feels weaker than I remember — is the pack dead?

It's likely not dead — Li-ion cells lose usable capacity below 10°C, and a pack that sat in an unheated garage all winter starts its first cycle at reduced output. Bring the battery indoors and let it reach room temperature before charging and using it. Cold cells also have higher internal resistance, which means the blade motor's inrush current is more likely to trip the BMS on the first few starts. Run three to five full charge-and-use cycles at room temperature and capacity should stabilise.

The new battery runs noticeably warmer than my old one did — should I be worried?

New Li-ion cells haven't completed their formation cycles yet, so internal resistance is slightly higher in the first few uses, which produces more heat under load. This is normal for the first three to five cycles and settles down as the cells condition. Check that the battery bay vents on the mower aren't blocked with grass clippings, as restricted airflow traps heat regardless of pack age. If the pack is still running unusually hot after five full cycles, check the blade isn't dragging — increased motor load is the most common cause of persistent heat on this platform.
