TECHNIK MR 1000 — 28V Li-ion Replacement Battery (DYMA113)

This is a 28V, 5000mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the TECHNIK MR 1000 cordless lawn mower. It slots into the mower's battery bay and powers the cutting deck and blade motor. Capacity figure is taken directly from the product specification — 5000mAh / 140Wh.

• MR 1000 battery bay fit: The MR 1000 runs a 28V battery rail with a keyed connector and BMS handshake. This cell pack matches that voltage rail and communicates with the mower's onboard management system to enable blade motor operation.

When the MR 1000 blade hits dense or wet grass, the motor draws a sharp inrush current that can spike well above the normal running draw. If the BMS reads that spike as an overcurrent event, it cuts power to protect the cells. The mower stops mid-row and may need a few seconds before it restarts. Letting the pack rest for five minutes allows the BMS thermal and current sensors to reset before you continue.

Charger rejecting the pack after winter garage storage

A Li-ion pack that self-discharges below approximately 2.5V per cell over winter will fall outside the charger's acceptance window. The charger sees a voltage too low to begin a standard charge cycle and throws a fault light instead. Some chargers have a recovery or trickle mode — check the charger manual for that setting. If the charger lacks a recovery mode, the pack has discharged past safe recovery and needs replacing.
