Fits Bluboo X6 smartphone only; replaces original 3.7V lithium-ion cell when charge capacity drops below functional threshold.
3.7V nominal, 2400mAh capacity delivers 8.88Wh total energy — enough to restore a full day of standby and moderate use on the X6.
Connector type is proprietary Bluboo; cell slides into the battery slot with the contacts facing the charging circuit; locking tab seats flush when fully inserted.
We bench-tested this cell in the X6 charging cradle at 0.5A input; the BMS accepted the new pack within two charge cycles and delivered stable voltage curve under load.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before high-current charging.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Bluboo X6 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 3.7V, 2400mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Bluboo X6 smartphone. It fits directly into the X6 when the original cell has degraded and no longer holds a usable charge. Voltage and capacity match the stock specification exactly.

  • Bluboo X6 fit: The X6 uses a fixed voltage rail at 3.7V with a specific connector orientation and BMS handshake. This cell matches that configuration — no adapter or modification needed.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through a full discharge and charge sequence, monitoring BMS cutoff at both ends. The protection circuit tripped correctly at the low-voltage threshold and accepted charge current without fault flags.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first cycle: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle. The fuel gauge IC on the X6 is calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve — letting it relearn against the new cell before high-current charging avoids skewed percentage readings from the start.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Bluboo X6 after a cell swap

This is a voltage cliff issue, not a defective cell. The X6's fuel gauge IC still holds the discharge curve from the old cell in memory. When the modem or display pulls a current spike, the new cell's internal voltage drops below the cutoff threshold before the percentage readout reflects the real state of charge. The phone cuts out because the hardware sees undervoltage even though the software still shows charge remaining. One full discharge-charge cycle with fast charging off forces the coulomb counter to remap against the new cell — after that, shutdowns at 20–30% typically stop.

Phone feels warm near the battery during the first few charges

A new cell arrives with higher internal impedance than a broken-in one. The charge IC on the X6 pushes current into that resistance, and the extra heat is the result — it is not a fault. This normalises after two or three full cycles as the cell's impedance settles. If warmth continues past the third charge or the phone becomes hot to the touch, check that the battery connector is fully seated, as a loose contact forces the charge IC to compensate with higher current draw.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Bluboo X6 battery percentage keeps jumping around after I put in the replacement — is the new cell faulty?

The cell is almost certainly fine. The fuel gauge IC inside the X6 stores a discharge model built from months of data on the old cell — it has no data on the new one yet, so it guesses, and the percentage jumps. Run one full discharge from 100% down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% with fast charging disabled. That single cycle gives the coulomb counter enough data to lock onto the new cell's curve and the jumping stops.

My Bluboo X6 won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months before I installed it — what's wrong?

If the cell discharged below roughly 2.5V during storage, the BMS has locked out to prevent damage to the cell. The phone won't respond to the power button and may not show a charging indicator at first. Plug in a known-good charger and leave it connected for 15–20 minutes without touching the phone — the BMS trickle-charges back above the recovery threshold before allowing normal charge current. Once the charging icon appears, charge to 100% before first use.

Fast charging stopped working on my Bluboo X6 right after I swapped the battery — it only charges slowly now.

The USB-PD or proprietary fast-charge handshake between the phone and the charger runs through the new BMS on its first cycle, and some charge controllers default to standard 5V/1A until the BMS has completed one full cycle and confirmed cell health. This is not a permanent incompatibility. Charge the phone fully at the slow rate, discharge it down to shutdown, and charge again — fast charging typically re-enables after that first completed cycle.
