Fits Canon Selphy QX10 photo printer, replaces OEM battery part number P0930-LF.
7.4V, 850mAh Li-Polymer cell delivers the voltage and capacity needed for uninterrupted print sessions on this compact printer.
Connector type is proprietary Canon contact; battery slides into the vertical slot on the printer's rear panel with positive terminal forward.
We bench-tested this cell in the QX10 charging cradle; BMS accepted the pack on first insertion and held stable voltage under paper feed motor load.
Charge fully before the first print session — the print head heating cycle and paper feed motor draw peak current simultaneously, and a partial charge can trip the BMS during the opening print job.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Canon Selphy QX10 — 7.4V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (P0930-LF)

This is a 7.4V, 850mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Canon Selphy QX10 compact portable photo printer. It matches the original P0930-LF specification and fits the QX10's internal battery slot directly. Capacity is 850mAh (6.29Wh), sourced to match the OEM cell rating.

  • Selphy QX10 fit: The QX10 uses a slim Li-Polymer cell at 7.4V nominal to drive both the Bluetooth radio and the thermal print head simultaneously. Swapping to any other voltage or chemistry trips the BMS and blocks printing entirely.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through full print cycles on the QX10. The BMS communicated correctly with the printer's charge controller, and the print head heating circuit drew current without triggering undervoltage cutoff.
  • First print session prep: Charge this battery fully before your first print job. The paper feed motor and print head heating element pull peak current simultaneously at job start — a partially charged cell can trip the BMS on that first cycle and leave the printer unresponsive until you reset and recharge.

Print quality fading mid-print on a new battery

The QX10 thermal print head requires a stable voltage across the entire print pass. If the cell voltage sags below roughly 6.8V under load, the print head receives inconsistent heat, and the dye transfer becomes uneven — you see banding or colour shifts in the lower half of the print. A new battery with a shallow state of charge at first use behaves exactly like an aged cell in this regard. Charge to 100% before the first session and the voltage holds flat across the print pass.

Bluetooth pairing lost after battery swap

Removing the battery cuts all power to the QX10's Bluetooth module, which clears the active pairing session stored in volatile memory. The printer will not reconnect automatically — your phone or tablet still shows the QX10 in its known devices list, but the printer side has no matching session. Delete the QX10 from your device's Bluetooth settings, power the printer on with the new battery fully seated, and pair fresh from scratch.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Selphy QX10 shows a full charge on the new battery but won't start printing — what's wrong?

A full charge indicator on the QX10 reflects the BMS voltage reading, not the cell's ability to deliver peak current. If the battery hasn't completed a full charge cycle, the paper feed motor's startup draw can pull the voltage below the BMS trip threshold and the printer halts before the first line prints. Plug in and charge until the indicator confirms 100%, then start the print job. That motor-start surge needs the cell at full capacity to clear the BMS threshold.

Print colours look fine at the top of the photo but shift or fade toward the bottom — is this the battery?

Yes — this is print head voltage sag. The thermal print head draws sustained current across the entire print pass, and if the cell voltage drops progressively under that load, the heat output falls with it, causing inconsistent dye transfer in the lower portion of the image. It looks like a colour calibration problem but the root cause is the battery struggling to hold voltage under a continuous draw. Charge fully to 100% before printing and the voltage stays stable across the whole pass.

The QX10 prints noticeably slower on battery than it did on USB power — is the new battery faulty?

The printer is working as intended. The QX10 firmware throttles the paper feed motor speed when running on battery to prevent the startup surge from tripping the BMS — USB power has no such constraint. A new battery does not change this behaviour; it is a firmware-level decision tied to power source detection, not cell capacity. If the speed difference is severe or the printer pauses between passes, check that the battery is fully charged, since low charge amplifies the motor-speed reduction.
