Fits Huawei CV80 photo printer, replaces OEM part P0925-HF battery.
7.4V, 500mAh lithium-polymer cell powers the print head heating and paper feed motor throughout a full print session.
Connector seats flat into the CV80 battery slot with a single locking tab; orientation is keyed and cannot reverse-fit.
We tested the BMS handshake on first insertion—no fault codes, cell accepted full charge cycle, and discharge curve remained flat under motor load.
Charge fully before the first print session; photo printers draw peak current during paper feed and print head heating, and partial charge can trip the BMS on startup.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Huawei CV80 Photo Printer — 7.4V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (P0925-HF)

This 7.4V, 500mAh lithium-polymer battery replaces the original P0925-HF cell in the Huawei CV80 portable photo printer. The CV80 is a Bluetooth-connected, pocket-sized photo printer that feeds and prints ZINK-style paper via a motor and print head driven entirely by this battery. When the original cell degrades, print quality and paper feed both suffer before the printer stops working altogether.

  • CV80 compatibility: The CV80 uses a single lithium-polymer cell at 7.4V nominal to power both the paper feed motor and the thermal print head simultaneously. Any voltage deviation from that rail causes the BMS to cut output, stopping the print mid-cycle.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through full charge cycles and triggered the feed motor and print head load simultaneously. The BMS held the voltage rail steady across both loads without tripping at the rated 500mAh capacity.
  • First-charge print tip: Charge this battery to 100% before starting the first print job. The paper feed motor draws a surge current at startup that a partially charged new cell can trigger the BMS cutoff on — stopping the job before the first sheet finishes.

Print quality fading mid-sheet on a new battery

The CV80 thermal print head requires a stable voltage to heat evenly across each print line. If the battery cell has shallow-cycled or arrived partially discharged, the print head voltage sags under sustained load. That sag causes uneven heating, which shows up as faded bands or streaks across the photo. A full charge before printing stabilises the voltage and eliminates the sag.

Bluetooth pairing lost after battery replacement

Swapping the battery cuts power to the CV80's Bluetooth module, which clears the active pairing in memory. The printer does not reconnect automatically — it resets to an unpaired state. Open the Huawei printer app, delete the old device entry, then re-pair from scratch. The printer should appear in the app's device list within 30 seconds of powering on with the new battery at or above 7.4V.

Frequently Asked Questions

My CV80 starts a print job then stops halfway — paper gets stuck halfway out. What's causing that?

The paper feed motor needs a minimum voltage to complete a full feed cycle. If the new battery shipped partially discharged, the BMS trips under the motor's startup surge and cuts power mid-feed. Charge the battery fully before the next attempt — a full 7.4V cell provides enough headroom to complete the feed cycle without triggering the cutoff.

Print looks fine at the top of the photo but fades out toward the bottom. Is that the battery?

Yes. The thermal print head draws sustained current for the full length of each sheet. As the load continues, a low or degraded battery sags below the voltage the print head needs to heat consistently — the bottom of the print receives less heat than the top. Charge the battery to 100% before printing, and the voltage rail stays stable long enough to heat evenly across the entire sheet.

My CV80 is printing slower on battery than it was before — taking noticeably longer per sheet. Why?

The CV80 reduces motor speed when the battery voltage drops below the threshold needed to safely drive both the feed motor and print head at full rate. This is the BMS throttling output to prevent a hard cutoff. Check the battery charge level first. If the cell is fully charged and print speed is still slow, the original battery has likely degraded below 500mAh capacity and this replacement cell should restore normal speed.
