Casio DT-series docks use contact pins that oxidise with repeated insertions, and a new pack with high contact resistance can trigger a charging fault even though both the dock and battery are functioning. The dock's charge controller reads a voltage drop across the dirty contact and interprets it as a pack fault. Wipe the gold contacts on both the battery and the dock recess with a dry lint-free cloth, then reseat firmly. The charging indicator should clear within 30 seconds of a clean connection.

On the DT-X10, the 802.11 radio and the scan trigger draw current simultaneously during a rapid burst — the combined inrush can pull the cell voltage below the BMS's minimum threshold momentarily, causing the radio stack to drop its association. This happens most often when the battery is below 20% state of charge and scan frequency is high. The BMS recovers automatically, but the wireless reconnect adds latency that operators notice as missed scans or delayed confirmations. Keeping the pack above 30% during peak shift activity prevents the voltage sag that triggers the drop.
