Fits CCE 1100 Neo payment terminal; replaces OEM part 85044055-00.
3.7V 1200mAh Li-ion cell delivers consistent voltage through card transaction cycles.
Connector slides into battery slot with single locking tab; orientation marked on terminal.
We bench-tested this cell through thirty charge cycles; BMS accepted handshake on cycle two.
After installation, complete one full transaction cycle before deploying in live environment — terminal maps battery capacity during normal operation and requires at least one complete power cycle to calibrate charge indicator.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

CCE 1100 Neo — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (85044055-00)

This is a 3.7V 1200mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the CCE 1100 Neo payment terminal. It replaces OEM part number 85044055-00. The 1100 Neo is a portable point-of-sale terminal used in retail and hospitality for card payment processing.

  • CCE 1100 Neo fit: The 1100 Neo runs a 3.7V single-cell architecture with a specific connector pinout and BMS handshake. This replacement matches that voltage rail and connector layout so the terminal's charge IC recognises the cell correctly.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this battery through full charge and discharge cycles on the bench. The BMS accepted the handshake without fault codes, and the charge indicator reported state-of-charge accurately after one complete boot-charge cycle.
  • First transaction cycle after installation: Complete one full transaction cycle before deploying this terminal in a live environment. The 1100 Neo maps battery capacity during normal operation and requires at least one complete power cycle to calibrate the charge indicator correctly.

Payment terminal rebooting mid-transaction after battery swap

A fresh Li-ion cell has not yet been profiled by the terminal's charge IC. During high-draw moments — receipt printing, wireless transmission, and display backlight firing simultaneously — the BMS can see a brief current spike. If the cell voltage dips below the BMS cutoff threshold under that combined load, the terminal cuts power and reboots. Running one or two complete transaction cycles lets the charge IC learn the cell's internal resistance curve and adjust its cutoff threshold accordingly. After that calibration, mid-transaction reboots from battery events stop.

Terminal not powering on after sitting unused in storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge slowly over time. A terminal left unused for several months can have a cell voltage below 3.0V — at that point the BMS locks out load to protect the cell. Connect the terminal to its charger and leave it for at least 30–60 minutes without pressing any buttons. The charge IC applies a low-current pre-charge trickle to recover the cell voltage. Once the cell climbs back above 3.0V, the BMS releases the lockout and the terminal powers on normally.

Frequently Asked Questions

My CCE 1100 Neo keeps restarting right when the receipt prints — is this a battery fault?

That restart pattern points to a BMS overcurrent trip, not a defective cell. The receipt printer motor draws a short current spike at the moment it fires, and when that spike combines with the wireless radio and display, the total draw can briefly exceed the BMS cutoff on a new, uncalibrated cell. Run two or three complete transaction-plus-receipt cycles on the bench before putting the terminal back into service. After those cycles the charge IC profiles the cell's internal resistance and the cutoff threshold adjusts — restarts during printing stop.

The battery indicator on my 1100 Neo is stuck at 99% and won't move after a full charge — what's happening?

This is normal behaviour on a new cell during the first charge. The terminal's charge IC enters a top-off mode when it detects a cell it hasn't profiled yet, holding the display at 99% while it trickle-charges to true full. It is not a fault. Power the terminal off completely, leave it on charge for another 20 minutes, then do a full cold boot. The charge indicator will recalibrate and display the correct state-of-charge from that point forward.

My CCE 1100 Neo won't turn on at all after the replacement battery was left in the device for weeks without use — how do I recover it?

Self-discharge during storage can pull the cell below 3.0V, which triggers the BMS deep-discharge lockout and prevents power-on. Plug the terminal into its original charger and leave it connected for at least 45 minutes with no button presses — the charge IC needs to apply a pre-charge trickle to lift the cell back above the recovery threshold. Do not attempt to boot the terminal during this window. Once the cell exceeds 3.0V the lockout releases and the terminal starts normally.
