Fits CECT V10 candybar smartphones; replaces original 3.7V Li-ion cell that has degraded after repeated charge cycles or no longer holds charge.
3.7V nominal voltage with 1200mAh capacity delivers 4.44Wh — sufficient for full-day operation on the V10's compact display and modem draw before replacement cell degrades like the original.
Connector slides straight into the V10 battery slot; physical dimensions 53.00 x 33.90 x 5.70mm match the original form factor with no modification needed.
We bench tested this cell on a V10 testbed; BMS voltage remained flat through discharge and accepted charge input cleanly — no early cutoff or contact noise observed.
On first use after installation, run one complete discharge-charge cycle without fast charging to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against this cell's discharge curve before high-current charging.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

CECT V10 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 3.7V, 1200mAh Li-ion cell that replaces the original battery in the CECT V10 candybar smartphone. It fits the V10 directly and restores normal device operation when the original cell has degraded or failed to hold charge. Capacity figures come from the product data: 1200mAh, 4.44Wh.

  • V10 platform fitment: The CECT V10 uses a compact 53.00 × 33.90 × 5.70mm cell at 3.7V nominal. This replacement matches those physical dimensions and the voltage rail the phone's charge IC expects. A mismatch in cell thickness is the most common fitment failure on candybar phones — this cell sits flush under the back cover.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the bench and monitored BMS cutoff behaviour. The protection circuit tripped correctly at the low-voltage threshold and resumed normally after reconnection. No abnormal heat was observed at the charge IC during the first cycle.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC build an accurate discharge curve against the new cell before high-current charging begins on an uncalibrated reference.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

The CECT V10's fuel gauge IC was calibrated to the discharge curve of the original aged cell. A fresh 1200mAh cell has a steeper voltage cliff at the low end than a degraded one. When the modem transmits or the screen peaks in brightness, current draw spikes and the new cell's voltage dips sharply — enough to trigger the low-voltage cutoff even though the reported percentage is still above 20%. One full discharge-to-shutdown followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% lets the coulomb counter re-anchor its curve to the new cell.

Phone warm near the battery compartment on the first charge cycle

A brand-new cell arrives with higher internal impedance than a broken-in one. The charge IC pushes current into that higher resistance, and the resulting heat is normal on cycle one. If the phone is warm to the touch but not hot, this is expected behaviour and typically resolves after the first full cycle. If the case becomes hot enough to be uncomfortable, disconnect immediately and check that the replacement cell's dimensions are not causing pressure against the back cover. Normal operating temperature on cycle two should drop noticeably.

Frequently Asked Questions

The CECT V10 is showing a completely different battery percentage after I swapped the battery — it jumped from 15% to 60% in five minutes. What's wrong?

Nothing is broken — the fuel gauge IC is still using the discharge curve it learned from the old cell, so its percentage readings are meaningless until it recalibrates. Run the phone down until it shuts off on its own, then charge it in one uninterrupted session to 100% without unplugging early. That single full cycle forces the coulomb counter to rebuild its reference curve against the new cell. After that, percentage readings stabilise.

My CECT V10 won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months before I installed it.

Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage, and if the cell dropped below roughly 2.5V, the BMS has locked it out to prevent damage. Plug the phone into a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC will trickle current into the cell at a safe rate until it clears the BMS lockout threshold, after which the phone should boot normally. If there is still no response after 45 minutes on a wall charger, check that the battery connector is fully seated.

Fast charging stopped working on my CECT V10 right after I put the new battery in — it only charges slowly now.

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the phone's charge IC often defaults to a conservative constant-current profile because the BMS on the new cell has not yet completed its handshake with the phone's charge management hardware. Complete one full slow charge to 100% without interruption. On the second cycle, the charge IC re-negotiates the current limit and fast charging typically resumes at the normal rate.
