Fits Dell Blanco 2013 laptops and replaces OEM battery part numbers XM2D4, 0P75V7, and RFN3V.
Delivers 7.4V and 6050mAh capacity using Li-Polymer chemistry for consistent untethered runtime.
Connector type matches original slot orientation; locking tabs engage without force or modification.
Bench testing showed clean BMS handshake on first insertion; voltage held stable across discharge cycles.
After installation, run one full discharge to hibernation cutoff then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears inaccurate health warnings that appear after cell replacement.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Dell Blanco 2013 — 7.4V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (XM2D4)

This 7.4V, 6050mAh Li-Polymer cell replaces the original battery in the Dell Blanco 2013 laptop. It matches OEM part numbers XM2D4, 0P75V7, and RFN3V. Capacity is 44.77Wh, consistent with the factory specification for this platform.

  • Blanco 2013 platform fit: The Blanco 2013 uses a slim Li-Polymer pack with a specific connector pinout and BMS handshake tied to the EC firmware. All three OEM part numbers reference the same cell configuration — voltage rail, connector, and BMS communication are consistent across the run.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the Blanco 2013 platform. The BMS negotiated correctly with the EC on first connection, and the charge controller accepted a full charge sequence without interruption or fault code.
  • Post-install calibration on the Blanco 2013: After fitting this cell, run one full discharge to hibernate-cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears after every cell swap on this platform.

BIOS reporting battery health as poor after replacement

The Dell Blanco 2013 EC reads EEPROM data stored in the battery pack to assess health. When a new cell is installed, that EEPROM data does not match the charge history the BIOS expects, so it flags the battery as degraded or unknown. This is not a fault with the replacement cell. Run one complete discharge-to-hibernate followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% — the BIOS learn cycle will update its reference data and the health warning will clear.

Laptop shuts down at 20–30% shown on the fuel gauge

The fuel gauge IC on the Blanco 2013 calibrates its state-of-charge estimates against the old cell's charge curve. A new cell has a different voltage-to-capacity profile, so the gauge misreads the remaining charge. Under full CPU and display load, voltage drops faster than the gauge predicts, and the system hits the low-voltage cutoff before the displayed percentage reaches zero. Run two to three full discharge and charge cycles — the fuel gauge IC will re-map its curve against the new cell and the shutdown point will align with the actual charge level.

Frequently Asked Questions

Dell Blanco 2013 shows "plugged in, not charging" after I swapped the battery — new cell stuck below 80%

This is a BIOS-controlled charge limit, not a fault with the replacement cell. Dell's EC firmware can hold the charge ceiling at 80% when a battery health threshold is active or when the learn cycle has not completed. Go to Dell Power Manager (or the BIOS power settings) and check whether a charge limit is enabled — disable it or set it to 100%. If the setting is already off, run one full discharge to hibernate-cutoff and then charge uninterrupted to 100% to reset the learn cycle.

System info shows the wrong Wh rating after installing the replacement — BIOS says 40Wh but the cell is 44.77Wh

The Wh value the BIOS displays is pulled from the EEPROM embedded in the battery pack, not measured live from the cell. The EEPROM on a replacement cell is programmed to the OEM-rated value, which can differ slightly from the actual chemistry capacity of the new cell. This does not affect charging behaviour or usable capacity — the EC manages charge and cutoff by voltage, not by the EEPROM Wh figure. No action is needed; the discrepancy will not affect operation.

Fuel gauge on the Blanco 2013 jumps erratically — reads 60%, then skips to 85%, then drops to 40% within minutes

The fuel gauge IC builds its state-of-charge map from the charge history of the previous cell. With a new cell installed, that reference data is stale and the IC interpolates incorrectly across the new cell's voltage curve. The erratic jumps are the IC overcorrecting as it encounters voltage points it did not expect. Run three full discharge-to-hibernate and charge-to-100% cycles without interruption — after that the gauge IC will have enough data to track the new cell's curve accurately.
