Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Thunderobot G150T Series — 14.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery
This is a 14.8V, 4400mAh (65.12Wh) Li-ion replacement battery for the Thunderobot G150T gaming laptop. It fits the G150T-47208G128G1T9602G, G150T-47208G1T9502G, G150T, and P750DM. Install it when the original cell no longer holds charge or the laptop only runs on AC power.
- G150T and P750DM platform fit: These models share the same 14.8V four-cell battery architecture, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — the replacement cell communicates directly with the system board without adapter wiring or firmware modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge on a G150T platform. The BMS accepted the cell without triggering a protection fault, and the system board registered correct voltage at the connector throughout the discharge curve.
- Post-install calibration cycle: After fitting this cell, run the laptop on battery only until it hibernates at low charge, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears after every cell swap.
BIOS reporting poor battery health immediately after replacement
The G150T BIOS reads health data stored in the old cell's EEPROM and compares it against the new cell's reported state. When you swap cells, the BIOS has no baseline for the new chemistry, so it flags the battery as degraded. This is not a fault with the replacement cell. Run two full discharge-to-hibernate then charge-to-100% cycles — the BIOS learn cycle rewrites the baseline and the health warning clears.
Laptop shuts down at 20–30% charge shown on the fuel gauge
The fuel gauge IC calibrates its percentage readings against the old cell's known voltage curve. A new cell has a slightly different discharge curve, so the gauge misjudges the voltage cliff — it reads 20–30% remaining when the cell is already near cutoff under gaming load. The CPU and display together pull enough current to trigger a voltage drop the gauge did not predict. After two full calibration cycles the IC recalculates the curve against the new cell and the shutdowns stop.

Frequently Asked Questions
The system info screen shows the wrong Wh rating after I put in the new battery — is that a fault?
No. The Wh value shown in system info is pulled from the EEPROM data embedded in the battery cell, and the rated figure stored there can differ slightly from what the system calculates against the actual chemistry. The G150T does not recalculate this value automatically. Run the BIOS battery learn cycle — two full discharge-to-hibernate then charge-to-100% passes — and the displayed Wh will update to reflect the actual cell.
Windows shows 0% and "plugged in, not charging" right after installing the replacement cell — what's wrong?
The fuel gauge IC has no data on the new cell yet and defaults to 0% until it completes an initial read cycle. Plug in the AC adapter and leave it connected for at least 15 minutes without interrupting the charge. The BIOS needs that window to initialise communication with the new cell's BMS. If the percentage remains at 0% after 20 minutes, shut down completely, reseat the battery connector, and power on again — the system board sometimes needs a cold boot to trigger the handshake.
The battery percentage jumps around wildly for the first few uses — readings drop from 60% to 10% in minutes. Is the cell defective?
The fuel gauge IC on the G150T motherboard calibrates its percentage model against charge and discharge data accumulated over several cycles. With a brand-new cell it has no curve data, so readings are unstable and can drop sharply under CPU and GPU load. This is a calibration gap, not a cell defect. Run two complete discharge-to-hibernate cycles followed by uninterrupted charges to 100% and the IC will lock onto the correct voltage curve — the erratic readings will stop after that.
