Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Dreame Bot L10 Prime / L10s Series — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (P2150-4S2P-MMBK)
This is a 14.4V 6800mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Dreame Bot L10 Prime robot vacuum and the broader L10s series, including the L10s Plus, L10s Pro, and L10s Pro Ultra Heat. It replaces OEM part number P2150-4S2P-MMBK. When the original cell degrades and the vacuum can no longer complete scheduled cleaning runs, this cell restores full operating capacity.
- L10 and L10s platform compatibility: The L10 Prime, L10s Plus, L10s Pro, and L10s Pro Ultra Heat all share the same 14.4V battery bay geometry, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — which is why a single cell covers the entire series without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this battery through charge and discharge cycles on L10s series units and confirmed the BMS negotiation completed correctly, charge acceptance was within spec, and the protection circuit tripped at the expected low-voltage threshold without nuisance cutoffs.
- Dock charging habit for L10 series units: The L10 series returns automatically to its dock after every run. Do not leave it docked continuously between cleaning sessions — remove it from the dock once fully charged, or set a cleaning schedule that limits idle dock time, because sustained trickle current from the dock accelerates cell capacity fade.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low
The L10 series runs a brushless motor that pulls significantly more current under restricted airflow — a partially blocked filter or full dustbin raises draw well above the rated load. When an aged cell can no longer sustain voltage under that elevated current, the motor slows and suction drops noticeably even though the battery indicator still shows charge remaining. This is voltage sag under load, not a faulty indicator. Clean the filter and empty the dustbin first — if suction recovers, the original cell may still be serviceable. If the same sag appears with a clean filter and the battery voltage under load falls below 12.5V, replacement is the correct fix.
Motor cutting out mid-run and then recovering after a pause
This pattern — motor stops, vacuum sits, motor restarts fine — is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a motor fault. On carpet or when the brush roll is partially obstructed, the motor draws a short burst of current that exceeds the protection circuit's trip threshold. The BMS shuts output to protect the cell, then resets once the load drops. Clear the brush roll of hair and debris, then check that the side brush is not binding. If the cutout persists on bare hard floor with no obstruction present, the original cell's internal resistance has risen enough that even normal motor-start current is triggering the overcurrent threshold — replace the battery.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Dreame L10 Prime finishes runs much earlier than it used to — the app shows plenty of battery left but it docks anyway. What's happening?
This is voltage sag from a degraded cell. The battery voltage drops under motor load before the state-of-charge estimate catches up, so the vacuum interprets the sag as a low-battery condition and returns to dock prematurely. Check the filter first — a restricted filter raises motor current and makes sag worse on an otherwise borderline cell. If the filter is clean and the problem persists, the cell needs replacing.
The L10s Pro keeps cutting out on carpet but works fine on hard floor — is that a motor fault or the battery?
Almost always the battery, not the motor. Carpet engages the brush roll under heavier resistance, and the BMS trips on the current spike before the motor can settle into steady-state draw. The trip threshold that protects a healthy cell becomes a nuisance cutoff as internal resistance rises in an aged battery. Replace the cell and test on the same carpet — if the cutouts stop, the motor is fine.
I leave my Bot L10 Prime on its dock between every clean and the battery started fading after about a year. Did I damage it?
Yes — continuous dock charging is the most common cause of early capacity fade in the L10 series. The dock maintains a trickle charge whenever the battery drops even slightly below full, and sustained low-level charging degrades lithium cells faster than regular full cycles. Going forward, charge the replacement battery to full, then remove the vacuum from the dock or rely on a set cleaning schedule to limit idle docked time between runs.
