Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Ecovacs Deebot Ozmo 900 Series — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (S01-LI-148-2600)
This 14.4V 2600mAh lithium-ion battery replaces the original power cell in the Ecovacs Deebot Ozmo 900, 901, 905, and 930 robot vacuums, along with 43 additional compatible models. It slots into the underside battery bay and connects via the original multi-pin connector. Voltage and capacity match OEM spec: 14.4V, 2600mAh (37.44Wh).
- Ozmo 900 series compatibility: The 900, 901, 905, and 930 all share the same 14.4V battery rail, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. One cell fits all four without any modification to the bay or wiring.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through full charge-discharge cycles on the Ozmo 900 platform. The BMS communicated correctly with the dock charger, accepted charge without fault codes, and discharged evenly across cells with no mid-cycle cutoff.
- Dock charging habit on robot vacuums: Do not leave the Deebot on the dock permanently between uses. Continuous trickle charging accelerates capacity fade on lithium cells in this format. Charge to full, then lift the unit off the dock until the next scheduled run.
Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low
The Ozmo 900 motor draws significantly more current when the filter is partially blocked or the brush roll is restricted. When draw spikes above the BMS threshold, the cell voltage sags — the motor slows and suction drops, even though the battery indicator still shows a mid or high charge level. This is not a battery fault. Clean the filter and clear the brush roll, then retest. If suction stays consistent through a full cycle after cleaning, the battery is working correctly.
Motor cuts out mid-cycle then recovers after a short pause
A brief cutout followed by automatic recovery is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a motor failure. It triggers when sustained high motor draw — usually from a blocked filter or tangled brush — pushes current past the cell's protection threshold. The BMS disconnects the load for a few seconds, then resets once current demand falls. Check and clean the filter first. If trips continue on a clean filter, measure resting voltage at the dock contacts — it should read between 16.4V and 16.8V at full charge.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Deebot Ozmo 900 stops cleaning partway through a room even though the battery shows it's not low — what's causing this?
This is voltage sag under high motor load, not a battery indicator fault. When the filter or brush roll is restricted, motor current spikes and cell voltage drops below the BMS cutoff before the charge gauge registers it as low. Clean the filter and clear any debris from the brush roll before concluding the battery is the issue. If the unit completes full cycles after cleaning, the battery is functioning as expected.
The replacement battery charged fine the first time, but now the Deebot returns to dock much earlier than it used to — is this normal after a few weeks?
Shallow cycle use on a robot vacuum — short bursts on a small room followed by immediate dock return — degrades usable capacity faster than full discharge cycles. The cell learns a shorter range as its effective baseline. To reset this, run the Deebot until it docks itself from depletion, let it charge fully, then remove it from the dock. Repeat two to three full cycles to recalibrate the BMS charge estimation.
My Ozmo 900 won't respond at all after fitting the new battery — no startup chime, no lights. What do I check first?
A fully depleted lithium cell can drop below the BMS minimum voltage threshold, causing it to appear dead even after installation. Place the unit on the dock and leave it for at least 20 minutes without pressing any buttons — the charger needs time to raise cell voltage above the BMS recovery floor, typically around 10.8V for a 14.4V pack. If the charge indicator light activates after that window, the cell is recovering normally. If the dock shows no activity at all after 20 minutes, confirm the dock contacts are clean and making firm contact with the unit's underside terminals.
