Fits Kitfort KT-519, KT-519-1, KT-519-2, KT-519-3 cordless stick vacuums with original battery part compatibility confirmed across all variants.
14.8V and 3400mAh delivers the voltage and capacity required to match OEM pack output for this motor load.
Connector slides straight onto the dock contacts without rotation; locking tab engages automatically when fully seated.
We bench tested this cell on a KT-519 motor load — BMS held steady under suction draw with no early cutoff observed.
Do not leave this vacuum on the charging dock continuously after reaching full charge; trickle charging degrades capacity faster than charge-and-remove cycles.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Kitfort KT-519 Series — 14.8V Li-ion 3400mAh Replacement Battery

This is a 14.8V 3400mAh lithium-ion battery for the Kitfort KT-519 cordless vacuum cleaner range, covering the KT-519, KT-519-1, KT-519-2, KT-519-3, and four additional variants. It replaces the original pack when capacity has dropped or the battery no longer holds a charge. Voltage and cell count match the factory spec so the vacuum's motor controller sees no difference.

  • KT-519 variant compatibility: The KT-519, KT-519-1, KT-519-2, and KT-519-3 all run the same 14.8V four-cell series configuration with an identical connector and BMS handshake. Kitfort carried these variants across production runs without changing the battery interface, so one pack covers the full range.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran the pack through full charge and discharge cycles and monitored BMS cutoff under simulated blockage loads. The protection circuit tripped at the correct overcurrent threshold and recovered cleanly once the load was cleared.
  • Dock charging on the KT-519: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock indefinitely between uses. The KT-519 dock does not cut trickle charge once the pack is full. Charge to 100%, then remove the vacuum and store it off the dock until the next use.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

The KT-519 motor draws significantly more current when airflow is restricted — a clogged filter or partial blockage pushes draw well above the normal operating range. The BMS responds by pulling back output voltage to stay within safe limits, and the motor slows before the battery indicator registers low. The indicator reads remaining cell charge, not available power under load. Clean or replace the filter first, then retest suction across the full charge cycle.

Motor cuts out mid-clean and then restarts after a few seconds

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When the motor sustains a high-draw condition — usually a blocked nozzle or a clogged post-filter — current spikes past the protection threshold and the BMS disconnects the output. The pack resets itself after a short thermal window, which is why the vacuum restarts on its own. Fix the restriction causing the spike and the trips stop; a replacement battery alone will not resolve this if the filter or nozzle is blocked.

Frequently Asked Questions

My KT-519 suction feels weak even with a full charge — is the battery the problem?

Usually not the battery alone. A partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated, which causes the BMS to throttle output voltage and reduces motor speed before the charge indicator moves. Remove and clean the filter, check the nozzle for blockages, then run the vacuum again. If suction recovers, the battery was fine — the restriction was the cause.

The KT-519 keeps cutting out for a few seconds then starts again on its own — what's happening?

That cycling pattern is the BMS tripping on an overcurrent spike and self-resetting once the load drops. It happens when the nozzle or filter is restricted enough to force sustained high current draw from the pack. The battery is functioning correctly — it's protecting itself. Clear the blockage or replace the filter and the trips will stop.

My replacement battery is degrading much faster than expected after only a few months — what causes that?

Continuous dock charging is the most common cause on the KT-519. The dock does not stop trickle current once the pack reaches full charge, so cells held at 100% under a low continuous load degrade faster than cells cycled normally. Charge the battery to full, then remove the vacuum from the dock and store it off charge. Reconnect to the dock only when the pack needs charging again.
