Euro Pro V1945Z Sweeper — 7.2V Ni-MH Replacement Battery (XB1945W)

This is a 7.2V, 3000mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the Euro Pro V1945Z cordless sweeper. It fits the XB1945W battery slot and also covers the V1945, XB1946W, and XB1946 models. It restores power to the motor and brush drive when the original cell has lost capacity or stopped holding a charge.

• V1945 and XB1946 series compatibility: These models share the same 7.2V Ni-MH cell format, connector orientation, and BMS communication protocol. The same pack powers both the brush motor and the main drive circuit without modification.
• Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through full charge and discharge cycles on the V1945Z platform. The BMS accepted the pack without fault codes, and the brush motor engaged at rated voltage within the first cycle.
• Dock charging habit on this sweeper: Do not leave the V1945Z sitting on the charging dock indefinitely. This sweeper's charger does not step down to a true maintenance rate once the cell is full. Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low on the V1945Z

The V1945Z brush motor draws noticeably more current when the filter is partially blocked or the brush roll has hair wrapped around it. That extra draw pulls cell voltage down under load before the indicator circuit registers a low-battery condition. The result is weak suction while the indicator still shows a partial charge. Clear the filter and brush roll first — if suction recovers immediately, the battery is not the problem.

Motor cuts out mid-use then recovers after a short pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When suction is restricted — blocked filter, clogged brush channel, or carpet pile too deep for the motor — current draw spikes beyond the cell's rated output threshold. The BMS shuts the circuit to protect the cell, then resets once temperature and current drop. Check and clear the filter before suspecting the battery. If the motor runs normally on hard floor but trips repeatedly on carpet, the filter is restricting airflow and forcing the motor to work harder than the rated 7.2V draw allows.
