This is a 14.4V, 1800mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the Redmond RV-R300 and RV-R310 robotic vacuum cleaners. It fits the original battery slot and restores power to the vacuum's motor and cleaning cycle. Capacity matches the factory specification at 25.92Wh.

• RV-R300 and RV-R310 compatibility: Both models run the same 14.4V motor rail and use an identical battery housing and connector arrangement. One battery covers both units without modification.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low on the RV-R300

This happens when the motor is working harder than rated — usually because the filter is partially blocked. A restricted filter forces the motor to draw more current, which drops cell voltage faster than the indicator expects. The indicator is calibrated for normal current draw, so it reads higher than actual remaining capacity. Clean or replace the filter first, then retest suction consistency across a full cleaning run.

Motor cutting out mid-cycle and then recovering on its own

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When suction is restricted — blocked brush roll, clogged filter, or carpet fibres jammed in the intake — current spikes past the BMS threshold and it interrupts the circuit to protect the cells. The BMS resets after a brief pause, which is why the motor starts again. Clear the blockage completely, then check that resting voltage is at or above 15.6V before resuming normal use.
