Fits Eurobot XR210 cordless vacuum; replaces original 14.4V Ni-MH pack.
14.4V at 2000mAh delivers sustained motor power for debris collection on carpets and hard floors.
Slides into vertical charging dock with keyed connector; locking tab seats flush against housing.
Bench testing showed clean BMS cutoff at sustained load; no voltage sag on motor startup.
Do not leave this vacuum on the charging dock continuously — Ni-MH cells degrade under trickle charge, causing capacity fade within weeks; remove from dock immediately after reaching full charge.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Eurobot XR210 — 14.4V Ni-MH Replacement Battery

This is a 14.4V, 2000mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the Eurobot XR210 cordless vacuum cleaner. It fits the XR210's battery bay directly and powers the motor at the same voltage as the original cell. Capacity is 2000mAh (28.8Wh), matching the factory specification.

  • XR210 motor compatibility: The XR210 runs a brushed DC motor matched to a 14.4V supply rail. Dropping voltage — as a degraded original cell does — causes the motor to spin slower, which drops airflow and suction before the indicator lamp even registers low. This cell restores the correct voltage to the motor under load.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through repeated draw tests simulating carpet-load suction. The BMS held steady under sustained motor current without triggering a protective cutoff during normal operating draw. Voltage at full charge measured within the expected range for Ni-MH at this capacity.
  • Dock charging on the XR210: Do not leave the XR210 sitting on its charging dock permanently. Ni-MH cells on continuous trickle charge degrade faster than those charged only when depleted. Charge the vacuum to full, then remove it from the dock until the next use.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator shows low on the XR210

This happens because the motor voltage sags under load before the cell voltage drops far enough to trigger the indicator. A degraded Ni-MH cell loses internal resistance tolerance first — voltage under draw collapses early, but resting voltage still reads acceptable. The indicator reads resting voltage, not loaded voltage, so it stays green while suction is already weak. A fresh cell at full charge should hold above 13.5V under normal motor load on the XR210.

XR210 motor cutting out mid-clean and then recovering after a pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When the filter is partially blocked, the motor works harder to pull the same airflow — current draw spikes above the BMS threshold and the circuit opens to protect the cell. The vacuum recovers after a short pause because the BMS resets once current normalises. Clean or replace the filter first; if cutouts continue with a clean filter on a new cell, measure resting voltage — it should read at least 14.4V when fully charged.

Frequently Asked Questions

My XR210 loses suction halfway through a clean but the battery light still shows full — what's happening?

The battery indicator reads resting voltage, not loaded voltage. A worn Ni-MH cell collapses under motor draw well before resting voltage drops enough to trigger the low indicator. The motor spins slower, airflow drops, and suction suffers — all while the light stays green. Replace the cell and check that resting voltage reads at least 14.4V on a full charge.

The XR210 cuts out during use, then works again after I leave it for a minute — is this the battery or the motor?

It is almost always a BMS overcurrent trip caused by a restricted airflow path, not a failed motor. A clogged filter forces the motor to draw more current than normal, the BMS opens the circuit to protect the cell, and the vacuum recovers once current drops. Clean the filter thoroughly first. If the cutouts continue with a clean filter and a fresh cell, check that the cell is reaching full charge — a full Ni-MH cell at 14.4V/2000mAh should not trip the BMS under normal carpet load.

The XR210 used to last a full clean but now runs out much sooner — it has been on the dock constantly between uses.

Continuous dock charging is the most common cause of capacity fade in cordless vacuums with Ni-MH cells. Trickle charge held indefinitely breaks down the cell chemistry faster than normal charge-discharge cycling. The fix going forward is to charge only when depleted and remove the vacuum from the dock once the indicator shows full. If the current cell no longer recovers capacity after a full charge cycle, replace it and stop leaving it on the dock.
