Fits Kaily 310A and 310E cordless stick vacuums, replacing OEM Ni-MH cells.
14.4V and 2000mAh deliver full motor torque on carpet and hard floors without early cutoff.
Connector slides straight in with a single locking tab — no adapter or modification needed.
We bench-tested the BMS under sustained motor draw; charger handshake completed on first insertion.
Do not leave this vacuum on the charging dock continuously — Ni-MH packs develop capacity fade when trickle-charged for hours after reaching full charge, so charge to full and remove immediately.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Kaily 310A / 310E — 14.4V Ni-MH Replacement Battery

This is a 14.4V Ni-MH battery rated at 2000mAh (28.8Wh), built to fit the Kaily 310A and 310E cordless stick vacuums. It replaces the original pack when capacity has faded and the vacuum no longer holds a useful charge. Voltage and connector match the stock configuration on both models.

  • 310A and 310E shared platform: Both models run the same 14.4V power rail and use an identical battery housing, which is why a single replacement covers both. The BMS handshake and connector orientation are consistent across the 310 series.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through charge and discharge on a 14.4V Ni-MH compatible charger, confirming the BMS accepted the cell stack without fault flags and that voltage held stable through the discharge curve under simulated motor load.
  • Dock charging habit on the 310 series: Do not leave the vacuum sitting on the charging dock permanently. Ni-MH cells in cordless vacuums develop capacity fade significantly faster under continuous trickle charge than those charged only when the pack is depleted. Charge to full, then remove from the dock.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator shows low

Ni-MH packs show voltage sag under sustained high current draw before the cell charge is actually depleted. On the 310A and 310E, a partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current than rated, which accelerates that sag. The vacuum loses suction noticeably while the indicator still reads mid-charge because the cells cannot sustain the voltage under that increased load. Check and clean the filter first — if suction recovers, the battery is not the root cause.

Motor cutting out mid-use and then restarting after a pause

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a loose connection. When restricted airflow — from a clogged filter or blockage — forces the motor to sustain a high draw, the BMS cuts the circuit to protect the cells. The brief pause allows the BMS to reset and the pack to recover slightly, so the vacuum restarts. Clearing the restriction stops the trip cycle at the source. If it persists on a clean filter with a fresh battery, check that the motor isn't laboring against a full dust canister.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Kaily 310A vacuum loses suction well before the battery light turns red — is the battery failing or is something else wrong?

This is usually a filter restriction, not a dead battery. A clogged filter forces the motor to pull more current than rated, which causes Ni-MH voltage to sag under load even when the pack still holds charge. Clean or replace the filter and test again — if suction holds for a normal cleaning session, the new battery is working correctly. If sag returns on a clean filter, the motor itself may be drawing above spec.

The vacuum shuts off by itself and then works again after I set it down for a minute — what's causing that?

The BMS is tripping on overcurrent and then resetting once load is removed. This happens when the motor sustains a high draw — typically from a blocked filter, full dust canister, or hair wrapped around the brush roll. Clear all restrictions and empty the canister before using the new battery. If the cut-out continues on a fully cleared machine, confirm the charger brought the pack to a full 14.4V before the session.

I left my Kaily 310A on the dock constantly for months and the new battery already seems weaker — did I get a bad cell?

Continuous dock charging is the most common cause of early capacity fade in Ni-MH cordless vacuums, and it damages new packs just as quickly as old ones. Ni-MH cells degrade faster under permanent trickle charge than they do from regular charge-and-discharge cycles. Charge the pack fully, remove the vacuum from the dock, and only return it when the vacuum needs charging again. After three or four full cycles on this routine, measured runtime should stabilise.
