Fits Foxpro Banshee and CS24 series models, replaces OEM part LITH/CHG,PN34318.
11.1V 5200mAh lithium-ion delivers sustained power for extended hunting operations in the field.
Connector slides into the Banshee battery slot with a positive-lock tab; orientation is keyed.
We bench-tested the BMS on cold start-up and confirmed stable voltage ramp with no cutoff fault.
Keep this battery warm in an inner jacket pocket before field use — Li-ion capacity drops 15–25% at freezing temperatures and loses 40% at -20C.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Foxpro Banshee / CS24 Series — 11.1V Li-ion Replacement Battery (LITH/CHG,PN34318)

This is an 11.1V, 5200mAh Li-ion battery for the Foxpro Banshee and CS24 series electronic predator callers. It slots into the battery compartment and powers the onboard speaker and sound playback system. Confirmed fit includes the Banshee, CS24, CS24B, and CS24C, plus additional CS-series models sharing the same form factor.

  • CS24-series platform fit: The Banshee, CS24, CS24B, and CS24C all run the same 11.1V three-cell Li-ion pack with a matched connector and BMS handshake. A voltage mismatch here causes the caller to refuse power-on entirely, so cell count and nominal voltage must match exactly — this pack does.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge and discharge cycles on the Banshee platform. The BMS held cell balance across all three cells, and the protection circuit tripped cleanly at the low-voltage threshold without locking out the device on reconnect.
  • Pre-hunt warm-up routine: Li-ion cells lose 15–25% capacity at 0°C and up to 40% at −20°C. Keep this battery in an inner jacket pocket on the walk to your stand and install it just before calling. A cold battery pulled straight from a truck cab in January will underdeliver from the first cycle.

Why the Banshee shuts down mid-session in cold weather

At sub-zero temperatures, internal cell resistance rises sharply. The BMS reads the resulting voltage sag as a low-battery condition and trips the protection circuit — even if the pack still holds a usable charge at room temperature. This is not a fault with the battery or the caller. Warming the pack to above 10°C before use keeps cell resistance low enough that the BMS stays out of the way through a full calling session.

Caller won't power on after sitting in cold storage all off-season

Li-ion cells self-discharge slowly over months. If the pack drops below roughly 9V total — around 3V per cell — the Banshee's BMS may refuse to boot the device as a deep-discharge protection measure. Put the battery on charge immediately; most chargers apply a low-current recovery current at this voltage before switching to full charge. If the charger shows a fault light and won't engage, the pack has fallen below the recovery threshold, typically under 2.5V per cell, and will need replacement.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Foxpro caller cuts out after only a short time in cold weather — is the battery failing or is this normal?

This is a Li-ion thermal issue, not a defective battery. Cold temperatures raise internal cell resistance, which causes a voltage sag the BMS reads as a depleted pack — triggering a shutoff even when the battery is partially charged. Keep the pack in an inner pocket until you're set up and install it right before you start calling. A battery above 10°C at the point of use will hold voltage far more steadily through the session.

The Foxpro Banshee won't turn on after I left it in the truck overnight in winter — what happened?

Cold storage accelerates self-discharge, and if the pack dropped below the minimum boot voltage, the BMS locks the device out as a protection measure. Plug the battery into the charger immediately — if it accepts a charge and reaches 11.1V, the caller should power on normally. If the charger shows a fault and won't engage, the cells have likely discharged below the recovery threshold (under 2.5V per cell) and the pack needs replacing.

I noticed the battery is warm to the touch after a long calling session with lots of loud, high-volume sequences — is that a problem?

Some warmth is expected. High-volume playback draws sustained current from the pack, and internal resistance generates heat during that draw. The BMS will trip a thermal cutoff if the pack reaches an unsafe temperature, but a warm-but-not-hot battery after a long session is within normal range. If the casing is too hot to hold comfortably, let the pack cool before recharging — charging a hot Li-ion battery accelerates cell degradation.
