Sale priceFrom $53.99 USD Regular price $66.99
Shipping calculated at checkout.
Fits GardePro E6P, E6PCF, E6PMB, E8P trail cameras; replaces OEM part L1000D and LN800.
3.85V nominal, 10000mAh capacity delivers sustained power for extended field deployments in remote locations.
Connector slides straight into the battery bay; ensure the retention tab seats fully before closing the cover.
We bench-tested this cell in the E6P at full trigger mode; the BMS held stable voltage through sustained PIR cycles.
In cold field conditions below 5°C, warm this battery in an inner pocket for 10 minutes before inserting—Li-ion loses 15–25% usable capacity when cold and regains it once the cell reaches body temperature.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

GardePro E6P Series — 3.85V Li-ion Replacement Battery (L1000D)

This is a 3.85V, 10000mAh Li-ion replacement battery for GardePro trail cameras. It fits the E6P, E6PCF, E6PMB, and E8P, plus four additional models in the same family. Slot it in when the original cell can no longer hold a charge through a full deployment cycle.

  • E6P family compatibility: These models share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. The L1000D part number covers all of them — swapping between models in this range does not require a different cell.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge-discharge cycles on the E6P platform and monitored BMS communication. The protection circuit tripped correctly at low-voltage cutoff and resumed charging without errors on reconnect.
  • Field deployment tip: If the camera is mounted in sub-zero temperatures, install a warm battery just before leaving — Li-ion cells lose 15–25% capacity at 0°C and up to 40% at −20°C. A cold battery sitting in the device overnight will read lower charge than it actually holds once it warms up.

Why the E6P drains faster in cold conditions than the indicator suggests

Li-ion cells measure charge by voltage, and cold temperatures depress cell voltage even when capacity remains. The E6P reads that suppressed voltage as low charge and may stop recording sooner than expected. This is not cell failure — it is a thermal effect on electrochemical output. Warming the battery before installation recovers most of the usable capacity before the camera even powers on.

E6P won't power on after sitting outside all winter

Extended cold storage while installed in the camera can pull the cell below the minimum boot voltage — typically around 3.0V per cell — triggering the BMS to lock the battery out entirely. The camera will show no response even with a full battery installed. Connect the battery directly to a compatible charger and let it trickle charge for 15–30 minutes before reinserting. Once voltage climbs back above 3.2V, the BMS should re-initialise and the camera will boot normally.

Frequently Asked Questions

My GardePro E6P showed half charge when I pulled it from the camera in winter, but it won't even turn on — what happened?

Cold temperatures suppress Li-ion cell voltage, and the E6P reads voltage as charge level. If the battery sat in a cold camera long enough, voltage dropped below the BMS lockout threshold — around 3.0V — even though physical capacity was still present. Connect the battery to a charger and let it trickle for 20–30 minutes until voltage recovers above 3.2V, then reinsert it.

The battery compartment cover on my E6P was slightly loose after a rainstorm and now the camera is unresponsive — is the battery at fault?

Moisture reaching the battery contacts causes oxidation and can interrupt the BMS communication signal the E6P needs to boot. Remove the battery, dry the contacts on both the cell and the camera bay with a dry cloth, and inspect the cover seal for debris or deformation. If the contacts show white or green residue, clean them with a dry cotton swab before reinstalling. Reseat the cover firmly before any outdoor use.

My E6P camera chews through this 10000mAh battery far faster in January than in July — is the cell defective?

The cell is not defective. Li-ion chemistry delivers less usable capacity as temperature drops — roughly 15–25% less at 0°C and up to 40% less at −20°C. The camera's charge indicator also reads low because cold suppresses cell voltage, making the battery appear more depleted than it is. Store the spare battery in an inner jacket pocket and swap it in just before mounting the camera to maximise available capacity in the field.
