Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Hasee T6-I5430M / Super T6-I5430M — 11.1V Li-ion Replacement Battery (SQU-902)
This is an 11.1V 4400mAh (48.84Wh) Li-ion replacement battery for the Hasee T6-I5430M and Super T6-I5430M laptops. It replaces OEM part numbers SQU-902, SQU-914, 916T2017F, CQB901, CQBP901, and CQB904. If the original cell no longer holds a charge or the laptop only runs when plugged in, this is the direct replacement.
- T6-I5430M and Super T6-I5430M fitment: Both models share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. The same 11.1V cell fits both without modification — the Super variant uses identical hardware at the battery interface level.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on compatible Hasee hardware. The BMS communicated correctly with the system board, accepted a full charge without cutoff errors, and discharged without triggering undervoltage protection prematurely.
- Post-install calibration cycle: After fitting this battery, run one full discharge down to hibernate-cutoff, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This resets the BIOS battery learn cycle and clears the inaccurate health warning that appears in the OS after any cell swap.
BIOS reporting poor battery health immediately after installation
This is an EEPROM data mismatch, not a fault with the new cell. The BIOS reads health metrics stored in the old battery's EEPROM and compares them against the new cell's charge behaviour — they don't match, so it flags the battery as degraded. Running a full discharge-to-hibernate followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% allows the BIOS to complete its battery learn cycle. After one or two of these cycles, the health reading normalises. No driver update or BIOS flash is required.
Laptop shuts down at 20–30% charge shown on the fuel gauge
The fuel gauge IC in the T6-I5430M calculates remaining capacity based on voltage curves from the original cell. A new cell has a different voltage-to-capacity curve, so the gauge loses accuracy before the cell is calibrated. Under full CPU and display load, the cell voltage drops faster than the uncalibrated gauge predicts — the system hits its low-voltage cutoff while the gauge still reads 20–30%. Run two full discharge-to-hibernate and full recharge cycles. After calibration, the gauge tracks accurately and the cutoff aligns with the correct voltage floor of approximately 9.0V.

Frequently Asked Questions
The OS shows the new battery Wh rating as wrong — it says something different from the 48.84Wh on the label. Is the cell faulty?
No — this is an EEPROM mismatch between the rated chemistry data stored in the old battery's chip and the actual specifications of the new cell. The OS reads Wh from EEPROM, not live measurement, so the figure reflects the old cell's stored data until the system recalibrates. Run one full discharge-to-hibernate cycle followed by a complete uninterrupted charge to 100%. After that cycle completes, check the system info again — the reported Wh should update to reflect the new cell.
The battery charged to 80% and stopped — it won't go higher no matter how long it stays plugged in.
This is a BIOS-controlled charge limit, not a battery fault. Some Hasee BIOS versions ship with a charge threshold active to reduce cell wear — 80% is the most common limit point. Go into the BIOS power settings or any Hasee battery management utility installed on the machine and check for a charge limit or battery conservation mode setting. Disable it, then unplug and reconnect the charger. The cell will charge to 100% from that point forward.
After putting in the new battery, Windows shows it as "unknown" or stuck at 0% even though the laptop runs off it fine.
This is the fuel gauge IC failing to initialise against the new cell's characteristics — the hardware is working, but the measurement circuit hasn't synced yet. Power off the laptop completely, remove the AC adapter, and leave only the battery connected for 30 seconds. Then reconnect AC and boot normally. If the 0% reading persists, run a full discharge to hibernate-cutoff while unplugged, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — this forces the gauge IC through a learn cycle and clears the uninitialised state.
