Fits Highscreen Zera S smartphone; replaces original 3.7V lithium-ion cell degraded or failed.
Delivers 3.7V nominal, 1450mAh capacity — sustains modem and display current without voltage sag during calls.
Connector slides into original battery slot; locking tab seats flush against the phone's battery door frame.
We bench-tested this cell in a Zera S test unit; BMS accepted charge immediately with no fault codes.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging begins.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Highscreen Zera S — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 3.7V, 1450mAh Li-ion cell for the Highscreen Zera S smartphone. It replaces the original internal battery when capacity has dropped or the cell no longer holds a charge. At 5.37Wh, it matches the factory specification for this compact device.

  • Zera S fitment: The Zera S uses a slim, fixed internal cell at 3.7V nominal. At 62.00 × 56.95 × 4.40mm, this replacement matches the original footprint so the back cover seats correctly and the connector aligns with the board header without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the bench and confirmed the BMS communicates charge status correctly with the device. The protection circuit trips as expected under overcurrent and reconnects cleanly.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC build an accurate discharge curve for the new cell before any high-current charging pushes power into an uncalibrated state.

Why the Zera S reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The fuel gauge IC on the Zera S stores a learned discharge curve for the original cell. When a new cell goes in, that stored curve no longer matches the actual chemistry and impedance of the replacement. The IC keeps reading against old data, so the percentage shown on screen drifts from reality — often reading high until voltage drops suddenly. One full discharge to auto-off followed by a full charge to 100% resets the coulomb counter and lets the IC build a fresh curve.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This happens when the modem, screen, or processor draws a short burst of current that the cell cannot sustain at its present state of charge. Voltage dips below the shutdown threshold faster than the fuel gauge IC can update the percentage reading, so the phone cuts off before the display hits zero. The cell is not faulty — it is the IC still running an uncalibrated curve. Run one full cycle from 100% down to auto-off shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100%, and the threshold drift corrects.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Highscreen Zera S powered off at around 25% after fitting the new battery — is the cell dead?

The cell is almost certainly fine. After a replacement, the fuel gauge IC is still using the discharge curve it learned from the old cell, so voltage collapses faster than the percentage display can track — the phone shuts down before the counter reaches zero. Run one complete cycle: charge to 100%, use the phone until it shuts itself off, then charge back to 100% without interruption. That recalibrates the coulomb counter to the new cell and the early shutdowns stop.

The Zera S won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — what happened?

Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage, and if the cell dropped below roughly 2.5V the BMS has locked out to prevent damage. The phone will show nothing on screen because there is not enough voltage to boot. Connect the original charger and leave it for 30–40 minutes without trying to power on — the charge IC needs time to bring the cell back above the BMS recovery threshold before the phone will respond. If the screen still shows nothing after that period, check that the connector is fully seated on the board.

Fast charging stopped working on the Zera S right after I installed this battery — it only trickle charges now.

On the first cycle after a cell swap, some charge controllers fall back to slow charging because the new cell's impedance does not match the profile the controller expects. This is a protection behaviour, not a fault. Complete one full charge at the slow rate, let the phone discharge normally to around 10–15%, then charge again — the controller re-evaluates impedance on the second cycle and fast charging typically resumes. If it does not resume after two full cycles, confirm you are using the original Highscreen charger and cable, since third-party accessories can block protocol negotiation entirely.
