Fits Hoover H-GO 700, H-GO 700 Extra, H-GO 700 Plus cordless vacuums; replaces OEM part 2022 0103 and HRBT722BAT.
21.9V and 4000mAh delivers 87.6Wh to sustain suction and motor torque through mixed-floor cleaning cycles.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot with a single locking tab on the left side.
We ran full discharge cycles on a H-GO 700 Pro unit; BMS held voltage stable under motor load.
Do not leave this cell on the charging dock continuously — trickle charge degrades capacity fast; charge fully and remove immediately.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Hoover H-GO 700 Series — 21.9V Li-ion Replacement Battery (2022 0103)

This is a 21.9V 4000mAh lithium-ion replacement battery for the Hoover H-GO 700 range of cordless stick vacuums. It fits the H-GO 700, H-GO 700 Extra, H-GO 700 Plus, and H-GO 700 Pro, among other variants in the same series. OEM part references are 2022 0103 and HRBT722BAT.

  • H-GO 700 series compatibility: All H-GO 700 variants share the same 21.9V battery rail, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. Swapping between models in this line does not require any adapter or firmware change — the pack slots directly into the same battery bay.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through full charge and discharge cycles on an H-GO 700 unit. The BMS handled motor-start current draw without tripping, and cell voltage held steady across both floor and upholstery attachments under normal suction load.
  • Dock charging behaviour on the H-GO 700: Remove this vacuum from the charging dock once the battery reaches full charge. The H-GO 700 dock does not switch to a true maintenance charge — continuous docking pushes trickle current into the cells and accelerates capacity fade over months of daily use.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

On the H-GO 700, this usually happens because a partially blocked filter forces the motor to draw more current than its rated load. The BMS reads that elevated draw as a voltage sag event and begins throttling power to the motor before the battery is actually depleted. The indicator shows two or three bars, but the motor is already running below full speed. Clean or replace the filter first — if suction recovers immediately, the battery was never the issue.

Motor cuts out mid-use then restarts after a few seconds

This is a BMS overcurrent trip, not a dead battery. When the suction path is restricted — blocked filter, full dust cup, or a tangled brush roll — the motor stalls briefly and pulls a current spike the BMS interprets as a fault condition. It cuts the output, waits for the cells to recover above the cutoff threshold (around 18V under no load), then allows restart. Clear the blockage and check that the dust cup is no more than two-thirds full before concluding the battery itself is faulty.

Frequently Asked Questions

My H-GO 700 suction feels weak but the battery indicator still shows plenty of charge — is the battery failing?

Not necessarily. On the H-GO 700, a partially clogged filter forces the motor to draw excess current, which causes the BMS to throttle motor power before the cells are genuinely low. The indicator reads cell voltage, not motor output — so both readings can be correct at the same time. Remove and tap out or rinse the filter, then retest. If suction returns to full strength, the battery is fine.

The vacuum cuts out completely for a few seconds then comes back on by itself — what's causing that?

That's the BMS tripping on an overcurrent spike, typically triggered by a blockage at the brush roll, a full dust cup, or a jammed attachment. The BMS shuts output off to protect the cells, then resumes once pack voltage recovers above roughly 18V. Check the brush roll for wrapped debris and empty the dust cup, then run the vacuum again — if the cutout stops, the battery was responding correctly and does not need replacing.

My H-GO 700 battery fades noticeably after a few months even though I charge it regularly — what went wrong?

Continuous docking is the most common cause. The H-GO 700 charging dock does not drop to a true float charge when the pack is full, so cells sitting on the dock indefinitely take a sustained trickle that degrades capacity over time. Charge the battery fully, then pull the vacuum off the dock and store it unplugged. Repeat that cycle rather than leaving it permanently docked, and capacity fade slows significantly.
