Fits Infinum Omni II and Omni portable oxygen concentrators, replacing OEM part number XHP5Ah.
Delivers 11.1V at 5000mAh capacity — sufficient output to sustain the device's oxygen generation load during mobile operation away from AC power.
Connector seats vertically into the battery bay with a single locking tab; push down until you hear the clip engage.
We bench-tested this cell on an Omni II load profile — the BMS accepted the pack after one full charge cycle without fault codes or early cutoff.
After installation, let the device complete its power-on self-test without stopping it; medical devices verify new battery chemistry on startup, and interrupting this cycle triggers a false low-battery alarm that clears only after a full reboot.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Infinum Omni II / Omni — 11.1V Li-ion Replacement Battery (XHP5Ah)

This 11.1V, 5000mAh (55.5Wh) Li-ion battery replaces the OEM pack in the Infinum Omni II and Omni portable oxygen concentrators. It slots directly into the battery bay and connects to the same BMS interface the device uses for charge state reporting and fault detection. Capacity figures are from the product data — 5000mAh at 11.1V nominal.

  • Omni II and Omni compatibility: Both models share the same 11.1V three-cell Li-ion architecture, battery connector pinout, and BMS communication protocol. A single replacement pack covers either unit without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran charge and discharge cycles on this cell with the Omni's BMS active. The protection circuit responded correctly to end-of-charge termination, low-voltage cutoff, and thermal monitoring events across all test cycles.
  • Post-swap self-test requirement: After installing this battery, let the Omni II complete its full power-on self-test without interruption. Medical-grade BMS firmware runs a verification sequence at startup — cutting power during this phase logs a persistent battery fault that won't clear until a clean reboot with a full charge.

Why the Omni II alarms low battery on a freshly charged replacement

The Omni II's charge IC sets a conservative acceptance threshold calibrated against OEM cell chemistry. A new third-party cell with a slightly different internal resistance profile can report a state-of-charge value the BMS treats as marginal, even at full charge. This isn't a fault with the cell — it's the BMS learning the new pack's characteristics. One full charge-to-discharge-to-full-charge cycle recalibrates the state-of-charge model and clears the alarm. Do not use the device clinically until that cycle is complete.

Omni II will not power on after the replacement battery sat in storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge during storage. If the pack voltage drops below approximately 9V (roughly 3V per cell), the Omni II's BMS enters deep-discharge lockout and blocks startup to protect the cells. The device will show no response — no lights, no boot sequence. Connect the OEM charger and leave it for at least two hours before attempting power-on; the charger applies a trickle current to lift the pack above the BMS recovery threshold before switching to normal charge rate.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Omni II keeps alarming low battery right after I fully charged the new battery — is the pack faulty?

This is a BMS calibration issue, not a defective cell. The Omni II's charge IC compares the new cell's internal resistance against values stored for the OEM pack, and the mismatch triggers a false low-battery flag. Run one complete charge-discharge-recharge cycle before clinical use — that single cycle is enough for the BMS to update its state-of-charge reference and stop the alarm. Do not treat the device as ready for patient use until that cycle is done.

The Omni II powers off without warning during use and the battery still shows partial charge — what's causing that?

New Li-ion cells have higher internal resistance in the first 10 cycles, which causes voltage sag under the concentrator's compressor load. The Omni II's BMS monitors cell voltage in real time, and a sag event during compressor draw can pull instantaneous voltage below the cutoff threshold even when resting state-of-charge looks normal. The device shuts off as a protective response, not because the pack is empty. Condition the battery through 5–10 full charge-discharge cycles and the cutoff events will stop as internal resistance drops.

The Omni II's charge indicator stalls and never reaches 100% on the first charge with the new battery — is the charger broken?

The charger is functioning correctly. The Omni II's charge IC applies a reduced current limit during the first charge on an unconditioned cell, which extends the absorption phase and can make the indicator appear stalled near full. This is normal behaviour — the charge is still progressing. Leave the device on charge until the indicator confirms completion rather than estimating by time. After the first full cycle, subsequent charges will reach 100% at the normal rate.
