Fits IZZO Swami 6000 golf GPS navigator, replaces OEM part HT545256.
This 3.7V 1300mAh Li-Polymer cell delivers full power for course navigation and distance measurement.
Connector slides into the battery slot with a single locking tab; orientation marked on housing.
We bench-tested this pack in a Swami 6000 unit—BMS accepted charge cycle without fault codes, voltage held steady under active GPS load.
After fitting this cell, power the GPS fully on outdoors and allow it to acquire a satellite fix before play—GPS performs a cold start after power interruption that takes five to ten minutes for first fix.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

IZZO Swami 6000 — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (HT545256)

This 3.7V 1300mAh Li-Polymer cell replaces part number HT545256 in the IZZO Swami 6000 handheld golf GPS navigator. It slots into the same battery bay as the original and connects to the same BMS circuit. Capacity matches the factory spec at 1300mAh (4.81Wh).

  • Swami 6000 fit: The Swami 6000 uses a slim Li-Polymer pouch cell at 3.7V nominal to power its GPS receiver, course map display, and hazard overlay. This cell matches the original footprint at 51.10 × 33.80 × 7.00mm and connects through the same BMS handshake the device expects on boot.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the GPS circuit board. The BMS accepted the charge profile without fault codes, and the protection circuit triggered correctly at the low-voltage cutoff threshold.
  • First fix after installation: After fitting this cell, power the unit on outdoors and let it run a full cold-start satellite acquisition before your round. A cold start after full power removal can take 5–10 minutes to lock onto satellites — subsequent warm starts drop back under a minute once the almanac is cached.

GPS accuracy reduced at low battery on the Swami 6000

As cell voltage drops toward the low-voltage cutoff, some GPS units reduce receiver sensitivity to stretch remaining power. On the Swami 6000, this can show up as distance readings that update slowly or jump between values near the end of a round. The GPS receiver needs a stable voltage rail to maintain full signal processing. Keeping the cell above 3.5V during play keeps receiver sensitivity at full spec.

Swami 6000 shuts off without warning mid-round

After a battery swap, the fuel gauge IC on the Swami 6000 has no calibrated state — it hasn't yet learned the new cell's discharge curve. The device can hit its internal voltage cutoff threshold before the on-screen battery indicator reaches one bar. This is a calibration lag, not a defective cell. Run two full charge-to-cutoff cycles outdoors to let the gauge recalibrate and align the visual indicator with actual remaining capacity.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Swami 6000 lost all my saved courses after I swapped the battery — is there any way to get them back?

The Swami 6000 stores course data in flash memory, which does not depend on the battery to retain data. If saved courses disappeared after a full power removal, the unit likely reset its user settings partition during the cold boot — not a battery fault. Go to the device's course update tool on a PC and re-sync your course library via USB. Pre-loaded factory courses reload from internal flash without needing a download.

Satellite lock is taking 5–10 minutes every time I start the Swami 6000 now — it used to be instant.

Slow lock after a battery swap is a cold-start condition, not a GPS fault. When power is fully removed, the device loses its cached almanac — the satellite position data that allows a fast lock. The receiver has to rebuild that almanac from scratch, which takes 5–10 minutes on first fix outdoors. After one complete acquisition session, subsequent warm starts will lock in under a minute as long as the device isn't powered off for extended periods between rounds.

My Swami 6000 is draining the new battery much faster during active navigation than it did on the original — what's causing it?

Active navigation runs the GPS receiver and backlit display simultaneously, which is the highest draw state the Swami 6000 operates in. If the drain rate feels faster than expected, check display brightness — maximum brightness on the Swami 6000 is a significant contributor to current draw alongside the GPS chipset. Drop brightness to the mid setting and confirm the new cell is completing a full charge cycle before the round. A new Li-Polymer cell may show slightly reduced usable capacity in the first two cycles before reaching full rated capacity at cycle three.
